Wayne - thanks for the info, there is a huge difference between SPEC II & III.

Flinx - No worries mate, thanks for letting me know, hope you make it for race #5.

Mr P - No worries about submitting your SPEC II times, I only got to run a race in SPEC II also.

Race 4 Results
As you maybe aware, during race 4, GT5 Prologue had an update from SPEC II to SPEC III. Due to physics changes within the update I have decided to declare Race 4 a non-championship round & not award any points for the race. I believe the differences between SPEC II & SPEC III are large enough to create a disadvantage between the SPECs, and since everyone didn't completed the race in the same SPEC it would be unfair to judge the race on 2 different SPECs.
This decision was not an easy one, but I think it is the best way to deal with the update/physics changes.

As a result of the non-championship status of Race 4, I will add a 6th race to the championship, which I will post at the finish of race 5.

Really too bad, I had put a lot of effort on Spec II and was happy with what I had in the box...

When SpecIII arrived I thought there was a huge difference because the car I was using hadn't the setup reseted as default then when I saw the mistake I tested the combo again with SpecIII & couldn't see any difference (in time) and was doing exactly the same kind of laps

Probably the best way to deal with it Tosk and I have no problem taking part in a round 6 to make up for this transition, you are doing a fine job as always bud .. 👍

Wayne - I would have prefered to keep race 4 in the points, but there was just no real way of telling how much difference there was.
