Tourist/Turismo Competition??

Okay, I think it would be awesome to have a comp that you can enter either GT4 OR TT pics for the same theme. 2.0 rules would be cool too. 'Cause there have been times when Im tempted to submit a pic from tourist trophy just for the hell of it.. Personally, I love bikes as much, if not more, than cars & Im sitting on a bunch of shots that never see the light of day.. What do you guys think?

I like the idea of having a tt comp in here, but strictly TT. I think it would only work in this forum cause the TT forum is dead. One problem though is I don't know if there are enough people that have TT to have a comp. I'm currently looking for TT, its around, I just don't want to pay $40 for it. Either way I would like to see TT implemented somehow, whether it be mixed or single.

The main reason I wanted to do a mixed comp is because I know there are alot of people that dont have TT... plus i think itd be cool to see how the themes could be interpreted with such a broad range of subjects

I guess making it with both would still work, as long as the themes are still in general and are not too specific so it wouldn't wind up ruling out one game or the other. I'd like to see it happen.👍

I would be sooo in for a TT competition. The bikes are far more interesting to look at then the cars. The detail in each bike is makes it more unique than just another Evo or Subaru.

With all the talent in the GT4 galleries I can only imagine what you guys could do.

Sounds cool DO. I have TT. I think it would be cool to put TT and GT4 into the same competition. You wouldn't be able to restrict to certain cars, but maybe certain manufacturers, style, and locations. Sounds cool, I hope it goes through. I am not sure if I would have time enter that often, but I might.👍

I have no problem hosting it (in fact, I already made the first banner) if some of the other guys just tell me how, since Ive obviously never hosted a comp. It seems easy enough.

Just put up a topic. it isn't really hard. If you know how to make previews, then you also know how to do a poll. Just take a look at for example how 2.0 notes it's things, like rules. To make sure you don't forget anything.

I've been playing with TT alot lately and I'd be in for some shots. Problem with TT only is that even in the TT forum everything is dead, but like someone else said the bikes are soooo much more interesting and detailed it'd hardly be fair game. But we get to post 2 pics because we have 2 wheels less!

DO - one more question. if photo travel is not going to be allowed (presumption), then, will the same be said for valenica in TT since its not in gt4?

well I plan on having none of the themes be vehicle or track specific, so it shouldnt really matter.. The main reason to rule out phototravel is because of the higher quality level, (which is not available in TT) making it unfair to the TT guys... But with 2.0 rules, Id expect beautiful shots from both games!!!

are themes still going to be picked by past winners? and would themes like HRC (any racing honda) at Suzuka work?
