I’ll get a maybe more North American time friendly lobby opened tonight or later this week if anyone wants to. Thinking 8-10 pm ET (or so).

Been trying to figure a quicker way to drag some barriers past the locked barrier chicane to have a mini jump as the Stratos will launch off the barrier at even the lowest of speed when the barriers are knocked over. But maybe still too inconsistent to really race with.

All one needs to do is start a lobby in Free Run to practice. Make it private to keep the riff raff out, and you realistically need to move about 2 barriers from each end to sneak through.
Definitely >all< of the movable barriers will be pushed aside for the event. In a close race, there's room for 2 or 3 cars to take those corners abreast.

EDIT: the concrete chicanes are definitely skechy, people just really need to be prepared to back out of there, if they're in close company.

Oh. Absolutely. But to not have someone spend 10 minutes while running on their own, one just needs to throw a few aside.

Just sent a psn friend request. I’m definitely going to need some practice. Hopefully I’ll see you tonight.

Thanks to @HaydenFan69 for the practice and patience. I’m not sure how to tag everyone in the race, but I would suggest practice practice practice! I’m usually a better rally driver than track racing and this is hard. Fun but hard. Practice. Would dirt tires work better? E brake is near impossible and dirty street tires feel like Ice skates. Regardless I’ll be there sideways in a ball of flames and loving it. Looking forward to seeing you guys there

Hey everyone, I've just opened a lobby for some casual practice. If we get enough people, we can try to brainstorm a good race start procedure as that's all we're really lacking.

Friends only, pretty sure I've had FRs from everyone though.

Maybe someone could moderate through the chat? Maybe give a start time from the clock on the bottom left? That clock should be same for everyone.

Just about broke my wrist when I decided against doing that and smashing at them at full speed.

How are we doing the starts? Someone sits on the side and flashes hi-beams?
Yeah good question, I've been mulling it over.

We could start via chat although chat is quite dangerous where auto drive is considered, you need to be very careful to be fully parked.

I figure I will call the drivers to the start via chat and park the F150 where all entrants can see it. Hazard lights will go on as a 10 second-ish warning, and I'll hold the brakes, and drop them turning the brake lights off for the race start.

Didn't get a chance to test it but I figure it will work best where calling out times from the clock can get messy. Open to suggestions here though. I'm sure we'll figure it out :D

EDIT: Obviously, we'd need a kind volunteer to start the races I'm in!

Opened up a test lobby spotaneously, it's public =) Edit: Lobby closed. Was good fun, but it's easy for me to overdrive - who would have thought that could be possible with a Stratos ;)

Also a quick question: What will be the finish line? The white marking on the outside of the hairpin where we "officially" leave the track again?

Right!

I don’t think we’ll need to worry about any photo finishes, but something more than this:

I’ve just realised myself and @R_Goldstreiff have a clash of numbers, (I think you forgot to put him on the entry list @MaxAttack). It isn’t a livery I made so I can’t change the number but have no problem finding another if needed.....
I won't sweat it that much... Plus that is good news giving us 10 entries again, should make for a simple format :)

I also don't think it's a big deal but I can switch, I had a second livery in mind, the #436 Team Eminence livery, created by ZHOM-1. I'll run that tonight.

Gentlemen, I have a lobby open for some practice if anyone wants to pop along. You should all have me on your friends list by now I hope.

We are looking at 10 entrants tonight and I am mulling over the format - to be honest I've had a difficult morning and my brain is a bit scrambled, but here is what I'm thinking -

We'll start with 4 lap heats in 2 groups of 5.

The top two from these races will advance straight away.

Then we will have the consolation final with the remaining six cars. The top two from this race also advance.

That leaves 6 to decide a winner in a 6 lap race.

I think this may be rather short but should work, but as I say I'm all over the place today and open to suggestions. Thanks for being patient with me.

Hope for a good one tonight, can we all confirm attendance? Beardo sadly cannot join us tonight. @Kermit_2142 @Pigems @Adam Barber @GOTMAXPOWER @Drex124 @Harsk100 @HaydenFan69 @ILLEAGLE_34 @R_Goldstreiff
