Hi guys,

Just to say thanks to everyone for signing up for this event. We should have 12/13 hopefully which is a decent sized grid for an event like this at fairly short notice.

Apologies I haven’t been able to run any official practice sessions this week. I like to hold a practice if possible but I’ve just been too busy to fit one in.

Qualifying will start at 22:30 GMT / 17:30 EST. Please check daylight savings in your area as the UK is still on winter time. Hopefully I will have the lobby open a little early for a short warm up and we can get going once everyone is ready.

Ahh, that is a nice dream to strive for there young Padawan but it takes enormous amount of skill to run in the rear. First if you can't maintain a 1:42 average then you will need to follow some of these pointers:

1. Over brake consistently, this will add time to your overall lap time. Coming to a complete stop is not required but does assist with lap times.

2. Miss the apex of every few corners, don't stomp the throttle until you are at least 10-15 feet past the apex. Of note: stomping the throttle will assist you with creating a good rear end wiggle. Also shifting down to 1st or 2nd anytime during the race will assist with the wiggle.

3. With this car, DON'T avoid contact with other cars. The inadvertent bumping every once in a while will assist you in maintaining the rear end wiggle.

4. If you do a lap better than your target time (again around 1:42) then the next lap you will definitely have to complete #5 below.

5. Finally, just like the great sport of golf, visiting the sand traps every once in a while is encouraged.

I have been practicing for this race all week using TCS 0 - I am looking forward to having some great racing! See you out there.

I hope everyone enjoyed the race as much as I did. I think the car and track combo worked really well and made for plenty of close racing throughout the field .
