Track Updates You Anticipate in Forza 5

I found that bloom and contrast thing is largely down to what car you're driving. You drive in cockpit view? In road/street cars it's much less pronounced. In anything GT or prototype it's almost undriveable. I think it's a bug with the new lighting engine and certain windscreens. Same for Laguna too. It's a same because those are the cars that are synonymous with those tracks

Correct.

I'd recommend everybody to just stick with the hood or hood-edge cam, for the best experience.

All real world tracks is what they've said.

Also, Badned from Forza Central hinted heavily at the Nurburgring getting updated.

Didn't they say the same thing for Forza 4 as well? It may be laser scanned but that doesn't stop them from editing the tracks afterward to better suit Xbox Live.

I'm sure for all the flack T10 have gotten about neutering the 'Ring they'd understand where not to take creative license.

Or at least I'd like to hope they've learned that by now.

Also, for previous FM titles, T10 has been clear that they sent people with GPS backpack dealies to walk around the outside, middle and inside of the tracks they captured. I'd imagine you get the broad strokes that way, but the smaller details that give the track texture probably got lost.

The 'Ring is an absolute must for me, personally. The others are secondary - though I'd really hope Silverstone, Sonoma, and Laguna have been updated. Road Atlanta's a personal favourite, so I wouldn't mind an update to that, but I'm more than fine with it as is. My first experience with Road America in a game was this one, and it's become one of my favourites too. Not sure how similar it is to the real thing, but I wouldn't mind a touch-up.

On the fantasy side - I'd love to see the long version of Positano back, with both versions getting a facelift. The power of a new system could make them look tremendous.

Lol, they weren't fooling anybody with that one.

On the glare issue, the 787b at Laguna is almost impossible to enjoy.
When you switch to cockpit view it's fine for a second, then it increases the glare to a ridiculous level.
And they made it into Rivals event! :ouch:

Oh, and where is Mosport? That track deserves to be in Forza.
