I keep uploading my .png to the website, but every time I do there is a white background behind it. I know this isn't a problem on my end because it's a watermark I use and have sent it onto Photobucket with the results being fine.
Also, I can't use a Photobucket link because it comes up as an 'Invalid File', or with 'Remote File too big'.
Help please?

For transparent images to work, the image needs to be:
  • Under the 25kb file size limit (this might be 20kb for normal members. Can't remember).
  • Under the 100x100 (for normal members) or 120x120 (for Premos) dimension limit.

Otherwise it will automatically make the background white when it resizes it to fit those two constraints.

See if this one works: (Save as .gif)

Oh, I see what you did there. Maybe.
It works, aside from the inside of the a but that can be fixed. How did you do it?
Thanks! ;D

EDIT: Fixed the a. Thanks again!

I saved your avatar and eliminated the white background using Paint.net. Saved it as a gif and there you go. Cheers.

Yeah, I thought that I wouldn't need to do such things with the power of Adobe Fireworks but apparently not. The wonders of Paint.net!

Edit: It turns out I can but the transparency options are hidden elsewhere.

Whenever I want something to blend in with the background, I just paint the background the same color as where it's going. In this case, the RGB for that column is 229, 229, 229.
