Guess im not too worried about points either.
Just offered a few prize cars as a friendly gesture, and points was a way to get a winner.

Guess maybe keep prizes and points for the mm-R Cup races.

Anybody heared from dewspawn? Reserved him a cup car but not heard from him.

3 places left + 1 reserved for dew.

I think it's great for the 'fun racers' we have a 'fun' night and a 'competitive' night cos both for me are very enjoyable.....thanks to KWAKAMAN aka Dave for coming up with a way of keeping the 'fun racers' moving forward..:):)
 
Racing just for the racing pleasure, that´s what we started, and prizes or not, points or not, i would like to do that for a long time.
And then we have the mm-R cup, to see if we can really pimp some rides :sly:

This just gets better with the time, like the good vodka.... or was it wine?

Please go into options/settings in game and clear cache. Then restart your PS3, before joining lobby.

Will we need a normal room vs private lounge for a full grid?
 
May have to try both. I guess. as long as host is not fixed. Because whole lobby disconnects if host goes.
Atleast tonight is practice. Practice getting lobby correct.

Can get you both cars if you not got the spate #s. Or can put you down as reserves if you like

Races will be sunday eves at 9:15pm uk time. Well lobby opens then. Races prob start at 10 pm.

Maybe you should try to disable voicechat all together, I read that it puts extra strain on the connections if it's on... I know it isn't as much fun, but then again neither is constant disconnections :)

I might not make it to the practice session tonight. I'm off to see a girl, and I don't know by what time I'll be back home. I'm still going to be there for the real race tomorrow though :)

Accidents do happen in these races, it's all part of keeping it casual and not to serious.... just FYI :)

thats all good with me, of course accidents happen, so long as its not just "well you're going to pass me, so I'll put you in a wall" mentality, I tend to play along real-world thinking, ie not doing something which would realistically put someone out of a race :ouch:

Sorry Jhodas it would have been nice, but so far it seems you won't be able to join in. Sorry.

OP Updated, had to make a Waiting list for all the drivers.

Turned my chat to low in my lounge the other night and voice was very poor with only 1 other person in lounge.
So maybe an option, but makes it hard to get messages across quickly.

Think may try some experimental lounge settings during next week to try and find best setting for my lounge.
Connection test says Type 2 and normal bandwidth. Also normal race quality is recommended.

Read another post saying invisible cars in races maybe a bug rather than server issues. Hope PD sort this soon.

Went well had about 8 places taken. So not bad turnout. Hope for more tonight.
I entered room early and couldnt see 3 people, inc piti, so i jumped out and in again and then could see them all.
No disconnects (i think). Look forward to a fuller room tonight.👍
