I am sitting around 9.5 with a pretty much the same suspension at turbo. Completely stock with 0 toe and 0 camber all around.

Brakes at 5:3
Torque split 30/70

LSD is where I found the most help with the car.
Front: Rear:
25/10
40/35
5/5

Seems real nice coming into the corner and "mild" understeer on the exits exempt when you mash the power thru the chicane exit in the 2nd sector.

Anyone have tips in the spoon corner I am losing a lot of time there.

I am running 2;15s currently. Still on DS3 :/. Its a different controller than I am use to so I am not doing well there. Looks like I'll be the Marussia to the Mercs, Bulls, and Williams. :lol

Don't hate the controller! I'm pulling low 10's with it! Lol

Ask @carracerptp, he's definitely doing it right. I was getting pretty murdered mid-corner and exit on spoon in our short test races.
btw, anyone bothering with 6th gear?
Not sure but I think it is:

Brake whenever, not really that important, make sure you track the car out to the rumble strip.

Get back on the throttle and drive around the corner until just before the end of the outside strip.

Lift-off, brake very lightly, and turn in early for the exit. The car will mad understeer but if you time it right ( turn in early enough ) you will hit the apex.

cost a bit, then hard on the throttle early. You want to "just" make the exit on not end up in the green on the outside of the rumble strip.

The entry is pretty much a normal apex, swing out to the rumble strip as stated above. The second part of the corner is a late apex.
Yeah, that corner can be tricky because of it understeer depending on where you turn in and when you hit the gas. Late apex, but fun corner.

Turns out I'm not as hardcore as I thought I was.

Sorry Jason for mucking you about, if I did.

I will have to give this a shot tonight, I'll see what I can do. Its funny how badly I can take suck at a basic corner but I feel I'm flying threw the Esses which in my opinion are harder to tackle.

Good luck with this series RT :). I wish I could take part but there's no way I'll ever be free at 5pm on a Sunday :(.

Here's the schedule today, after room opening:

- Practice (30 min)
- Qualifying (15 min)
- Race (~45-50 min)

Edit: Race room is OPEN.

Good stuff guys! Congrats to Nick for coming back for the win after the jump start penalty. Working on the results at the moment, should be up shortly. For now I wanted to address a few things:

1) Do you think the race times are too long? Would a 30 minute race seem more appropriate?
2) Is qualifying too long? If we drop to 30 minute races, I would drop the quali time to 10 minutes.
3) I think some of us got penalties for not changing tire "type" as it was set to. Will fix this for next time.
4) Hopefully we can get some more drivers signed up. Trying to think up some championship "prizes" to attract some more interest.

Edit: Doh! Forgot to save the replay files. :dunce: Can everyone post their car number for me?

#66 didnt put enough petrol in :ouch: had a good race with dr watson though :)

edit. Is it possible for you to move dec 28th forward ???

Car 21, finished last. I can't believe I over corrected a 4wd...

Good race to watch at least.
I think you might have a number conflict with adeadsnipermatt.

Like, earlier in the day?

And I didn't know you ran out of fuel, I nearly clobbered you from behind. I was like, "Hmmm, left or right? Left or right? LEFT!!!"

No i mean monday or tues ??

Didnt realise there was anyone behind me, did you pit again or ??
I don't think we can do the middle of the week. I will also be working the 29th-30th. Remember you can miss up to 2 races during the season and they won't count.

I had to stop for fuel with 2 laps to go.

#7 Blue / Black

The race length was alright, but the qualifying session could be 10 min .... You probably won't post a good lap time past the 10 min mark anyway (unless you want to pit in the middle of a 15 min quali for fresh tires).

I had a blast. That was some close racing for a good portion, I kept making mistakes in the second half of the race. I would like shorter races and 30 min sounds pretty good. Would you be using the endurance setting use just shorten the amount of laps?

Shorten the laps. Endurance setting?

Sorry guys, would have loved to stay and battle it out, but after we had to restart the room, and myself having to reset my ps3, I knew there wasn't going to be time to finish. Watson and I had something brewing before I had to run, would have been an epic finish me thinks. Looking forward to next week, no Christmas party to rush off to.

Edit: Car #98
