Welcome!

Hey GTPlanet members, TTuners is a tuning source where you can get set ups for the bike that you want. The members consist of our fellow members Duċk, PLmatt91 and Speedy_2. The TTuners gallery will be something like the BESTuners and BESTesters galleries which are currently dead. We will have some pictures with the set up and the good points / bad points and there will be some extra goodies ;) We have no pictures or set ups yet because none of us three have the game yet  But be sure to check us out the week the game comes out officially for the US. I know one of us will have a set up done :D We still do not know where we will be testing our time at. We will find out when soon.

The members :
Duċk (Tuning expert in GT4)
PLmatt91 (TT Enthusiast)
Speedy_2 (Newbie in TT Tuning)

Our lap times from fastest to slowest:
-None yet.

DO NOT:
Criticize our pictures or settings, unless you have a suggestion to improve them.
You MAY tell us how to improve the settings but please don't tell us your settings.
And finally, please DO NOT complain in here or get completely off topic.

*Note*
We are not looking for any members yet. Two members of GTP had thought of the idea to make this, but no word yet for any one else to come in. So please, do not ask us to be in here.

Also, we know TT hasn't come out in the US yet. Once we (the team) get the game April 4th, we will start updating.

Thank you for your time. :)

No problem. I am psyched about this game. I've played a demo and I love it so far. I'll probably have a set up ready by Saturday for sure :)

As for me I'll probably be the last to post. I want to get a good "feel" for the game before I go about telling people how to set stuff up.

With the limited amount of tuning options available for the bikes, I imagine this TTuners thing may go the way of the BesTuners.

You can do suspension, brake balance and gear ratios no?

If that's the case we may just have to switch it to a TTesters sort of thing.

Perhaps, but if you can't keep your besttuners or besttesters going in a game with over 700 cars and a great many variables in setups how much mileage do you expect to get out of a game with only 100 or so bikes and limited set up options?

well regardless, these guys are putting forth a valiant effort. when we (the US) get the game, we will finally have it and be able to tell whether or not it will work out. until then, thanks guys, and i look forward to your work :)

True, but I think it might be better because of the lack of bikes. There's so many and so much in GT4 that we usually don't do tests and tunes becuase of time. So, we might not be able to do as much to the bikes, but we'll be able to do more reports since they won't take very long. If we end up doing all of them we can just sticky the thread and use it as a setup vault.

But then we'd have a set up for every bike...Then if people want specific settings, we can post those, and if people want us to tweak our settings, then we can edit. It's a long lasting journy ;)

Then we'd be able to create a set-up for every bike in the game. That I know I'd be able to do. ;)

And yes, there's 700 cars in GT4, but 300 are actually distinctive (meaning that they aren't another Skyline or Evo). And you have to factor in that most cars handle like everything else, you run out of words to say, you're burned out from making 20 reports, etc etc. I think if TTuners (or TTesters if there aren't enough tuning options) gets to 75 reports, that would be a good accomplishment.

But then again, TT will be a brand new game, where as GT4 was 9 months old when we started BESTuners, and by then we drove (not completely tested) most cars. Since it's going to be a brand new game, we'll want to get most of the bikes tested for the sake of excitement. :)

oh boy oh boy oh boy! can i request a setup for a bike to kick you guys off on this archive?
Once we (or I at least) get the game, you can fire your requests away. :)

same with gamestop...

im getting mine tomorrow. im waiting outside for the UPS truck to pull up, then walking in and telling them "NOW!!!!!!!! GIMME!!!!!!!" hehe

^^ Haha...

I got my game today :)! And by the looks of it, we might have to start a TTesters because the tuning in TT does look sort of minor now...But I know that we can still get around to it. So I don't know yet...

Okay, let me sadly announce, there won't be a TTuners. Me and Duck talked about it and we agreed that there isn't much tuning needed as much as GT4 did. So we came to a conclusion that we will start the TTesters. The same rules as here would apply to it...Thanks for people who were interested but I'm sorry to let you down.

Looks like there is as much or more tuning than GT4 to me. Are you forgetting riding form? There are TONS of variables there.

The tuning of the rider is all up to you, we would've just made a general set up for the bike, we wouldn't have messed with the riders preferences.

There's damper tuning, ride height, spring rate, brakes, and tranny tuning. Gt4 has twice as much tuning in it. And half of the tuning options are grayed out in TT anyway.

The "Rider Form" is very tunable. Does it not effect handling? I was assuming it affected cornering and weight balance? Or is it just for looks?

I know what you're saying...but it's all up to the person who has the bike or how they want their person tuned...
