Tuning my Ford GT to drive like the Ford GT40 Road Car?

I am a massive fan of the Ford GT40 road car but it was a major dissapointment when the car wasn't included in GT4 and GT5, what is the best way of tuning my GT to drive like the famous model from the 60's?

The question is: How does a GT40 drive compared to a modern GT?

I've never driven one.....


EDIT: You could send me a GT40 and GT in real, I would compare them and give you a tune as compensation, deal?

2002 Ford GT is the closest thing to the original.

So does anyone know how to tune the GT in GT5 to have tuning like that of the GT40? I know that the GT40 has 306 bhp, weighs 1216kg and has a top speed of 162 mph but how else could I make it close? (i.e transmission, torque, suspension?)

If you look for a Ford GT tune, this is the best tune i know, close to the perfection for me. Don't know if it'll work for yours specs but it's the best base you can find talking about ford GT road car tune.

Thanks to people for trying to help but i'm not interested in improving the performance of my GT, I want it to have similar stats to that of a GT40 road car. I'm asking if anyone knows those stats and what tunings to make in order to have the GT driving just like a GT40
