Tuning Request - Golf MK IV GTI RM 01 - Nordschliefe

I will keep things simple. My race is tomorrow at 3pm. I will take a full tune or just general advice, given the time constraints. There is a reward.

Set Parameters:
Mode: Online
Track: Nordschliefe (race will start with a damp track)
Laps: 3
Car: Golf MK IV GTI RM 01
Tires: COMFORT SOFT (edit)
Tuning: HP, ft/lbs and weight have to remain stock. Aero must be set to max. Everything else is fair game.

What I need help with:
-Suspension
-Differential
-Transmission

Goals:
- Reduce understeer
- Good turn in
- Proper gearing the keeps me in the power band and gives me a little room for drafting on the main straight
- Obviously has to be quicker than the stock settings

Reward for best tune:
- The nicest car I have < $1m

Roj @ RKM has a GTI RM tune. Pretty sure it has been updated for Spec 2.0 as well. Try that as a start.

Thanks. I will try that out. It is hard to get gear ratios right on The Ring. I may have to do that part myself.

This one is built on a completely stock base. Aero isn't maxed but it won't matter much.

Roj @ RKM has a GTI RM tune. Pretty sure it has been updated for Spec 2.0 as well. Try that as a start.

IIRC , the stock RM has about 200 bhp , so the suspension could work but not the tranny and the LSD.

I recommend this, Tested it out a while back along with all the other tuners RM golfs and this was the best handling one, imo.

Although if it was with RH like on the tune, there's no telling what it will do on the SS that the OP requires.

I will try C-ZETA's tune as well. Since the power is relatively low, I do not think the difference from SS to RH will be too noticeable. At 300hp... that would be another world. Thanks.

Edit: I was wrong the tires are comfort softs. However, your tune still works very well C-ZETA. I ditched the gear ratios and increased the rear brake bias to 8 and front to 6. Other than that it works perfectly.

C-ZETA. You win. Tune was great. I won by over 13 seconds... against a good field. I will send you a friend request and send you your car. IDK what it will be. Probably something you already have... but hopefully not.
