Tuning Requirements?

I am currently going to start the Roadster endurance race but I can't figure out what the requirment that states my car needs to have "normal" tuning means. None of the Miatas I try are able to enter. Anyone who can answer this and/or give some pointers for this race is very appreciated!

It means you can't use any tuning parts on the car. No turbo, no clutch, no weight reduction, etc. The only things you can change are the oil and the tires.
If you just want an easy win, use an MX-5 LS (the 150hp one) with super hard racing tires. There will probably be another LS in the race, who will shoot away from you at the start, but he'll have to pit every 6 laps, and with superslicks you'll only have to pit every 20 (IIRC).

You can't use any mods of any kind except tires and oil. Just use super slicks and have some skill and you should be fine.
