Tuning the NISSAN GT-R

I just won the NISSAN GT-R Concept LM Race Car '02 from Extreme hall and it's ok but when I upgraded to Turbo Stage 4 it sucked accelerating. It's a problem with either gear 2 or gear 1 and 2. I tried fooling around with it myself for a bit but it's incredibly slow acclerating until it hits 3rd gear, without Turbo Stage 4 it can do 0-400 in under 10 seconds, with Turbo Stage 4 it takes over 12 seconds.
Can anyone tell me what to alter to make this car a faster and better car?

Well, if you only want to drive it in 0-400, you can use small auto setup .........
In race track, if you use close gearing you will rarely use 1st gear anyway.

You're experiencing turbo lag.

If you're doing the drag strip, remove the turbo. And on the track, like sucahyo said, you're never in 1st or 2nd gear anyway.

In combo with that, try tinkering with the tcs and using soft but for the road cource,1st will mostlikely not be used at all seeing that it is a 7 speed
