Turbo Charged Cobalt SS on taps for 2008/ HHR in 2009

I don't know what they did to the HHR exactly, but I really like the looks of that wagon.

So, why didn't they offer the Cobalt SS Turbo first, instead of the (normal) HHR turbo?

I'm not sure. I think it may have been because the HHR Turbo had been in the planning stages for so incredibly long, some threads here dating back to the spring of 2006, if not earlier. This being said, it would have seemed like a better idea to stick the extra power in the car that had always been far more popular.

About time GM put the correct engine in the car. I still bet it torque steers and wheel hops to some unhealthy degree, but here's to hoping GM fixed that.

At least it looks better then the old one, I'm glad they dropped the Hot Wheels car inspired spoiler.

I dissagree with you there. That thing is ugly as sin. The wheels are terrible looking IMO. I like the new motor setup, but the old one looks much much better.

The only thing they've changed is the rims and that stupid Hot Wheels style wing is all I can figure.

Actually, those wheels were available on the '07 models in the GMHP option section. There is a yellow SS S/C at Berger with those same ones on it right now...

And the big spoiler was an option in '07, as it will be on this new car.
