Egg's box? £3.60.
What do you guys think? Seems to me that the police are over reacting and punishing the innocent from some reports I read. Will have some links in a minute.

From BBC radio it is reported 4 days of protest on the squares and bridges of Istanbul. People seem to be angry that the PM is imposing Islamization on supposedly secular and European Turkey, and progressively restricting freedoms previously taken for granted. Alcohol, for instance.

The government is reacting with water cannon and tear gas.

The US has supposedly expressed concern, for whatever good that does.

And amnesty international has said that polie ruling is too harsh I believe.

I heard it started out as a stand-alone protest in Istanbul over rapid development of the city, at the expense of its green areas. However, I am aware that Erdogan has been under fire from secularists for bringing in the aforementioned conservative laws on things such as alcohol.

Peaceful protests have spread to Ankara and extended to a 5th day in Istanbul. Police crackdowns intensify as the Islamist Erdogan doubles down against dissent.

In lieu of abortive attempts to spread democracy in Libya and Syria, Euro and US NGO's may be better off attempting to save it in Turkey, LMAO.
