Great racing last night from everybody, was also nice to mix it up with some of the Div. 1 drivers as well.

FYI, all of the cars were great, the One77 sucked donkey ballz.
Indeed it was a lot of fun racing with everyone

Division 1 Results are ready, and Division 2 results are in the works and almost finished so results should be out soon tonight or tomorrow.

Great racing with all 3 cars last Friday at Silverstone grand prix!

information regarding driver stats coming soon for the league 👍

Susgestion regarding the qualifying , instead off the qualifying just before the race start you could make a TT and let the results from the TT be the qualifying , then you would know iff you are totally off pace 💡

I've been thinking about doing that for our first special enduro race (Final Race of season 1) and just seeing how it goes. For now I'm liking the quick 5 minute qualy as it puts you in that tense moment of trying to strive for a fast lap quick as possible so it allows the drivers to push themselves.

But I do like the idea and have had it in my mind for awhile, but still in the thinking process for future events. Maybe ill try it out soon and see how it goes, otherwise we plan to keep the 5 minute qualy for weekly racing.

thanks for the suggestion

Enjoyed watching the Daytona24hr this weekend. That GTLM class is something else! Awesome racing there from start to finish, even though those fords had everyone else outnumbered with all 4 cars entered.

Makes me thirst to run a daytona 240 minute race now :dopey:

Ph7sher, shoot me a note next time youre running laps to prepare for the 24hr race. I'll jump in a gt car to give you someone to pass while you practice. 👍

Did you take any pictures from the d24 race? Sounds like you had a great time:cheers:

I'll have to messege you sometime when I get in my lmp for the d24 in February :)

Back from the Rolex, had a blast, and the NSX GT Sport challenge got me reinvigorated for some racing. Has anyone tested to see if pit stops will be needed for the Bathurst event Friday?
I've been really busy lately so I'm not entirely sure if there will be pit stops quite yet in this Fridays Races, but I think so if I had to guess

Pit stops aren't mandatory

Remembering back to the GT300 event we did there we made it 65 minutes no problem on RH, though this car is on RM's and likely uses more fuel I'm not sure stops will be needed.

plenty off tyre and fuel too go nonstop iff you want too , the big question is , what is the quickest , pit or not pit :)

Update

1st of all I apoligize I haven't released the results from last Fridays races. This week has been hectic for myself and the rest of the turtle stewards but we do plan to get the results out sooner than later.

2nd - practice will be tonight however I'm not home as I'm on vacation for a week and not returning until next Tuesday night so maybe @micantony or @littleregret265 or @Dolph Drago might host but if not and you want to get practice in don't be afraid to open a room.

Lastly who's ready for some Bathurst racing with the Falcon? :sly:

Car and Track combo are very nice this week. The car is locked in :sly:

Season 1

Race 5: February 3rd, 2017 l Two - 45 Minute Races

2000 Ford Falcon XR8 l Racing Medium

Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit l 21 Laps

Race 1:
Track will be set with 5 minute qualify (2 laps)
Track time set to 5:40am, with time progression set to 8

Race 2:
Reverse grid
Track time set to 11:40am, with time progression set to 8

weather looks to be bright and sunny.

See you guys tomorrow night! It should be a fun couple races. I'll try to open the room up for practice as soon as i can, even if i'm not present the whole time.

***Reminder***: the start is very tight at Bathurst with everyone lined up side by side on the grid. Be careful into turn 1. Those in the left lane stay left into turn 1 and leave room on the outside of turn 1 for your fellow turtles starting on the right side. Those on the right stay to the outside of turn 1.
Then, everyone can enjoy the drafting down to turn 2.:dopey:
Keep it clean out there.

I am for weather as long as it doesnt become undriveable and is decided in advance so it is expected
It won't be very often weather will be factor, maybe once every 2 seasons or season. Just depends on the theme of the season.

But like I said, when each season gets released it'll be noticed in far (weeks) advance.

Goodluck everyone tonight

I don't have the time at the moment to do the pit meeting post but we all know how to drive out there. Keep it clean, respectful and most importantly have fun out there 👍

Your Division 1 host @micantony and Division 2 Host @littleregret265 will take care of everything tonight

Best of luck! I'm off to snowboarding in the mountains for my vacation :D

I'll be back early next week to update everything for the league

Apologizes for the lack of communication on thread lately

Room opens at 8pm central?
That is how we normally do things.

However, I'm quite tied up right now and I can't reasonably expect to be home in the next hour. I'm hoping to be online by 8:30 central, room open no later than 8:40.

If someone is available to host Division 2 and I haven't said anything on the thread by 8:30, feel free to open up a room and post on the thread that you plan to host (so everyone can join you). I'm really sorry about this inconvenience guys.
