It does - the TV in my lounge and the TVs most of my friends have all have noticeable input lag. I have a small LCD LED in my room and it's a lot faster when playing stuff like Battlefield or Call of Duty since you need good reaction times for those. I use it as a monitor as well - the TV part of it doesn't work due to bad receptionIt all comes down to what you want to do with it and how much you're ready to spend. For a PS3 you wont see difference in input lag with a monitor or a TV.
