Given the time-frame of both series, Control met Ted around the time that the Machine first went online.so this is where Samaritan put her then :-)

Jonathan Nolan on Season 5 at the San Diego Comic-Con:
http://m.au.ign.com/articles/2015/07/12/comic-con-person-of-interest-to-drop-the-mic-with-season-5
The main points:
Nolan wasn't in a position to comment on whether or not Season 5 will be the last - but if it is, then he wants to end it on a high.- We haven't seen the last of Shaw.
- Finch and Root will try to rebuild the Machine, but may make it more overt ... which will raise some difficult questions.
- Fusco is finally going to start asking questions.
They've got 13 nowI'm sure I read somewhere it was going to be the last season, but even if it is, it's nice for Nolan to have twelve episodes to rap up things.
I just hope they can get back to the greatness of season three

Incidentally, IMDB is doing a thing at the moment where you can vote on your favourite episodes of things. The top 35 are here and there's 3 season 4 episodes of POI in there - If-Then-Else, Asylum and YHWH - along with 3 other episodes of POI. No other show currently has more than 2 episodes on the list
have you a link for that? i had a quick look on imdb and couldn't see it
And with a hundred episodes, the show is guaranteed to a future in syndication.Last night the POI cast and crew had a big party in NY to celebrate finishing filming the 100th episode
Yes.So I watched the first half of season one. Is the story going to evolve to one story line?
Very much so. Unless you then rewatch the first half of season one and realise that it was always that good. We're talking Futurama levels of forward planning.Does it get better?
"Person of Interest" follows the Joss Whedon Rule in the first season: teach your audience the rules of the world first, then start in on the over-arching plot. Because maybe someone missed the pilot episode, and you don't want to isolate potential audiences because they were caught up in traffic. Besides, a large part of the over-arching story hinges on what can and cannot be done in this world. So I watched the first half of season one. Is the story going to evolve to one story line? I don't really like the fact that it feels lilke standalone episodes, where there is a hint of an underlying story arc.
Does it get better?
I've been watching this on the Tele as we get it here, but I need to know which episode and season I'm at to resume watching
last epsisodea DR got radiation poisining and had 24 hours to live, they managed to kill the guy responsible but with the DR dying they suspected something was wrong with the program and at the end of the episode it had been injected with some virus
not sure, but, have a look at this link for the episode list:

It really needed a resolution. It was quite obvious that Samaritan is nowhere near as altruistic as the Machine, and there was a lot that went unresolved.although i love the show, i think they should of finished it after season 3; the ending was just amazing

There's a difference between an open ending and just stopping in the middle of things witnout reason or explanation. Inception has an open ending, because you are left wondering if Cobb ever actually woke up or if he is still dreaming (it doesn't matter because the important point is that he accepts the reality presented to him as being real). But to end "Person of Interest" with the final episode of season 3 would be incredibly lazy since there was so much that went unresolved.i liked it all left in the wind and can could of made up your own mind on what happen
