I know this seems kind of odd as a first post. But i beleive that the TVR speed 12 (with black wheels and black spoiler) should have been the bat mobile for "The dark knight".

Also, Is there any way to get the TVR speed 12 to top 300 MPH? I got it to 298 and can't get it any further.

Hi, Silvercast, and welcome to GTPlanet.

If you use advanced search, limited to this board for "TVR Speed" (it won't find '12' because it is <3 letters) you will probably find existing threads on the car.

Also, if you go to the 300 MPH thread on the tuning and settings board, you can search inside that thread to find if the Speed 12 has been mentioned.

Look in the 300mph thread, as said. But, I can assure you you can hit 300mph, I've done 304 myself. Taking off your spoiler will most likely help you as well :)

Yeah, it would have made a great batmobile, but sadly there is only 1 left in the world, and judging by the damage the batmobile took in the film, I would say perhaps it would be best to leave the Speed 12 out!

It would have been a great batmobile for sure. I find the Toyota RSC perfect for a batmobile, also. 👍

Great idea....Considering the budget they probably had for the film and how much they probably wasted on that abortion tank thing that can't actually go round corners, they could of had at least 10 speed 12's made.
Even if they made them with normal Cerbera v8's they are still only fibreglass bodies with a space frame underneath albeit stonking V12 (i'm not taking anything away from TVR, the're still fantastic) but with the right amount of money and know-how, anything can be done. I mean if that Polish bloke can build a Mclaren F1 replica in his garage (its pretty good) then the sky's the limit really.
Having said that however, I think they have always preferred an unknown origin of Batmobile just to make it a little bit more mysterious and special.

But like i said, Great idea.
