This is making headlines the last couple of days. Will be interesting to see what they do with it. Hopefully the CGI is good, though they have plenty of quality tornado footage they can pick from thanks to storm chasers and photographers. And hopefully its not over the top like most action movies these days...

For as silly and fast & loose with meteorology as the original one was (e.x the opening tornado being rated by the emergency news broadcast as it's still on the ground using the Fujita scale several years before the scale existed), it was good fun. Hope the reboot sequel captures some of that joy.
