I was just wondering what every one else out there prefers...the Civic type R or the Integra type R or the Accord type R

Subaru Impreza 22B Type R STi Version
It's a Type R because it has 2 doors. All Subaru Impreza WRXs with 2 doors are labeled Type R.

Unfortunately I have to vote for the CTR, just because I love whooping the NSX-R in the Type R Meeting, stock for stock.

Personally, I'd take a Golf R32 over all of them.

Integra Type R hands down. Although the Integras in GT2 that you get from the dealer aren't true "Type Rs"...they are GSRs. Only in some license tests or via LameShark can we drive an actual Type R in GT2.

Civic Rs are capable and fun to drive, but suffer more torque steer, and haven't got the Integra's superior traction & balance. The Accord Type R is cool too, but too heavy & big when compared with either Civic or Integra.

Anyways I bumped this thread so, vote today!

No, this thread and poll is obsolete. :P
But no NSX Type R? 👎 But I guess I'll have to vote for the Integra. I was using an Acura Integra Type R in the Type R meeting in GT2 today. The ITR had about 300hp (thanks to the turbo 👍) and it was a good thing that I was racing in the Test Track. I almost pwned the grid with my blistering acceleration (even outdragging the NSX) and thought I would have an easy win. But unfortunately my car was limited to 160mph with stock gear. 👎 Sure enough, the NSX went flew past me and I can't do anything about it. In the end I had to quit, reload and entered another race. Need to get custom transmission for my ITR..... :banghead:

For the poll, Integra. But I like the Subaru...

The Integra, interestingly, drives like a RWD car. While it lacks the occasional instability, it is firmly planted on the road, but it also lacks some of the aspects that determine a FWD car, such as torque steer and understeer, for that matter. There is good reason that it is a handling benchmark.

True. The Prelude handles in a similar way, the 1991 version i mean. Must be something in the water near the Honda factory :sly: But yeah, Integra Type R for me too :)

Nice necrobump Parnelli. :P I'm going with the Integra Type R simply because I hybrid-ed the living daylights out of one.

Spoon Integra Type R wins the vote for me. Agile, high revving engine, and cool carbon fibre hood. The Civic and Accord is a bit too mellow, could do with a bit more power. The 14000 rpm engine in the Civic is awesome though. Shame the NSX-R isn't included in the poll, that will easily win my vote even against the Integra.

To Parnelli: the NSX Type R is in GT2, but it's only available via Gameshark if you have the US game. In the JP game it's available normally from the Honda used car lot. I have both games, so I'm able to verify this. Once again blame PD for their incompetence 👎.

What happened to your avatar? Silly guy.

What's this then? :odd:

That's a hidden car. Hmmm, I didn't know it was hidden in GT2..I thought it was just a "'92 Honda NSX" that was hidden. Not an actual Type R.
