i haven't really touched my settings for a long time. i does perform good with hard springs on a smooth track.
i would recommend about 10 front, 12ish rear just to help give a bit more oversteer.
as for high speed, it's all in your gearing.

first step:

Move the final drive (F) all the way to the right

Move the AutoSetup (A) to the far left

Move final drive to the left to increase high speed

Now move each gearing starting from first to the left

NOTE:Try to make the gearing short. RPM Drops from 9 to 7 grand each time you upshift. if you make every gear drop like this it may help you in acceleration. (At least that's what i come up with, with the settings)
