As you may or may not be aware, a group of us have been meeting bi-annually (usually) and playing GT3/GT4 and now GT5 in a LAN situation. The most recent one was last weekend at the home of clan Venari, and these are videos of some of the races.

We each used cars of a specific colour so it's easy to work out who is who.

daan - dark blue
Famine - purple
GTP_Ingram - red
homeforsummer - white
Roo - black
Sureboss - orange
Venari - light blue

The Touring car rules were inspired by the BTCC. We used FWD premium cars, with 305bhp, and weighing 1270kg and tyres used were race softs. We each chose a different car, tuned it, but we then had to drive each others'. The cars chosen were the Mazda Atenza, Volvo C30, Alfa 147, Honda Civic (saloon), Focus ST, Citroen C4 & Honda Integra.

The American Muscle rules were that we each had to pick an historic muscle car, put it on sports softs, and then tune in any way we saw fit so that it could go no faster than 1'35 around Trial Mountain. Some went for handling, and some went for powaaaaar! It'll be obvious who had what in the videos.

First lot of videos.

Touring cars at Motegi - Sureshot and I were tied together for most of this one.

American Muscle at GVE - Loads of flashing in this one

American Muscle at Madrid - I ran away with this one, so I switch for some brotherly love...

MR2 at HSR R - Not as much death as last time.

Videos from the previous meeting are here.

Nice videos. I like that you linked the one MR-2 video with that hilarious crash.

Good vids.

I enjoyed Motegi battle, though I screwed up the chicane far too often, first apex is just a bit blind.

*excuses

A couple more videos.

BTCC at Tokyo Reverse. Once I got to the front, I just ran away with this one (favourite track, and excellent settings from RKM/VTiRoj) so I switched back to the battle for 2nd.

American Muscle at Laguna Seca

Awesome footage, really cool with the same performing but different cars.
Yeah, it's a really good way to set the cars up. The cars (Japanese cars, and the American Muscle) were set up to do a target time so the cars are all pretty even. Even if the driver is not as fast as the others, or if we have one driver faster than the rest (cough Ingram) then it should all be equalised.
