/\ It will be out on Nov. 1 according to gamestop.com, but I wouldn't be surprised if they release the Wii before then, that Zelda will be a launch title, but that is NOT for sure, just my thoughts. It will be called Zelda: Twilight Princess, and you can see some great screenshots and such at the usual places like ign.com, gamepro.com etc....

Can't believe I had'nt spotted this thread yet, The Legend Of Zelda is one of the highest-acclaimed series ever!

As far as difficulty goes, The 'Oracle Of Seasons' on GBA was perhaps the quickest to learn and the least difficult of all.
As for highest-difficulty, it would be the 'Oracarina Of Time: Master Quest' on GC. Extremely challenging dungeons and bosses here.

Although, I recently started playing the 'Wind Waker' on GBC and got bored with it slowly. Perhaps it's a little to easy and built for younger players but It seems to get a little repetitive. Apart from that it's still a great game in all.

/\ Couldn't agree more with you about Wind Waker, its Nintendo's attmempt to draw in the younder crowd to the Zelda scene :ouch:

I just wanted to say, when I sold my GameCube yesterday, I kept one game....... The Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition! I went on eBay to see how much GameCube and its' games were selling for. This Collector's disc was going for more than games I paid money for!

Edit:
I'll play this disc, once I get my hands on Wii. Whenever that might be. :D

Bah, who wants a disc when both titles will be available on classic console?:sly: Sit back, plug the classic controller into the Wiimote and load 'em off the memory stick.:D

I remember I donated (or gasp, even thrown it away) that disc, since I never really had an interest for it. :guilty:

Bwa ha ha!! I got my copy still and it ain't leavin' my sight, too cool! Plus I have the master edition of OoT as well and that is great fun if I get a craving for OoT and I don't have that version as 'memorized'...lol. But maybe I will play it again to get ready for the new one....:) Great idea, now I REALLY wont be playing GT4 anytime soon :ouch:
Which reminds me, can we maybe add the master quest to the list above? I'd love to add it to my fav's...

i love a link to the past. the story line is birilliant and so is the gameplay. i'm still playing it right now, but i can't really find enough time to get through it.

Oh Yeah I have, and I tried doing it too but I dont have my emulator setup right or something I could never walk thru that set of stairs, must have spent 20 min just going up and down those damned things...lol

Jerome

Yeah. I tried it, but it is really hard. What did you vote for your favourite Zelda game. Mine was Ocarina of time. I keep triying the cheat. I will eventually get it. Someday.

OoT is my fav so far, then Link To The Past would be 2nd. Majora's Mask was alright, but not my fav avenue for Link. I was recently asked which series I love more......Zelda or GT. To which I replied, "Yes." Then he asks, what if I only had one series to play from here on out for the rest of my life....hhmm....too many variables there, I dunno. Anyone else have an answer?

Jerome

I'd go with GT, since I mostly play racing games anyway. Zelda is a kick-ass series, but that type of game doesn't interest me as much as driving :).

Zelda is better than GT in my opinion. The game may not have driving, but it has horseriding. I am looking forward to the new one on Wii.

Do you also think a turkey sandwich is better than a 512MB stick of RAM? The sandwich may not improve your computer's performance, but it is tasty.

Mmmmm... Turkey. I like sandwiches. Is there an option to take both the sandwhich and the memory stick? There is too much choice. Although, if I have to choose, I would go the sandwhich.

Except the one on the Super NES that I played for a couple of hours, I only played at Ocarina of Time, so my vote is biased.
I still haven't decided if I'll buy the PS3 or the Wii, so perhaps I'll be playing Zelda again next year...

Finally got around to tinkering with Four Swords a lil' this weekend, pretty easy game considering the other Zelda's but its still fun to run around with 4 lil' Links kicking tail...lolz.

I'm not all that good at racing my self. So I'll say Zelda:D Little Link is darn cute:embarrassed:

/\ This is true, except for this week, a friend of mine wants me to make a walkthrough for him....AGAIN! *Ugh* O well, Four Swords is better than I imagined it would be, still the little puzzles you have to do are a lot simpler than previous Zelda's, could it be because the GC is meant for 'beginner gamers/lil' kids'?...or that Link is always what 10 yrs old?....nah.....lolz, still fun tho!

And the Zelda games will always be one of the best out there!:mischievous:

I'll be on GTP until the new Zelda game comes out. Then I'll only be on to check my time trial. Hate to say it, but Zelda is more fun to me then racing.
I have to get through puzzels in Zelda games, GT or TT, just driving around a track until your eyes are dryed open. Or in some peoples case, throwing a controller through there TV:lol:.

True, I love the puzzles and action and building my inventory and saving hunniez, its all good. But if I look back which series have I spent more time with? I'd have to say GT, easily. But...that is mainly because were comparing apples and oranges. Because of GTTimes and GTP I still play GT, the part of the game that comes AFTER winning Sim Mode is where the REAL fun begins :). When Nov comes I too will be MIA for a while until I beat that game or need a break for a while.

Ocarina of Time was simply brilliant. One of my favorite games ever. 👍 The other Zelda games never interested me.

That is, of course, not counting Twilight Princess. It's gonna rock with the Wiimote.

True. Very true.
Nothing's going beat out the new Zelda game. And it's all because of the Wiimote. That and you can hear the bow draw back IN the Wiimote.:drool::scared::dopey:

Meh, I think that sound part you're mentioning is overrated. When it first happens, you think it's really cool, but after an hour or so you get tired of the crap sound quality and abruptiveness and turn it off.
