Just thought it would be interesting to hear what people thought.

I was thoroughly disappointed with the Starlet given its hp/lb.

Just raced the Tigra through Tahiti and found it to be quite an overachiever mainly due to exquisite turning.

And maybe 500+hp is too much for a FF, but I was hoping for more out of the Intrepid...

and as noted in the FF 4 door comparision, the Vectra does better than you might expect just looking at its numbers.

also, don't know if anyone's been able to fine tune them, and maybe it's just lack of R mod DF, but the AZ-1 A-spec and Tom's Angel T01 were both big disappointments...

just thought I'd mention specifically, while I remember, that the Tigra was able to maintain 113-114 though the first slow-down turn on tahiti, then 100 though the S and back corner, while I find most other cars can only pull through at 108-110 and then 95-97... so despite lack of high speed oomph, it could get in a lap in under 1:04, very good for its hp/lb.

'83 Mazda RX-7. Super overachiever. Better weight/power ratio than all the 2nd gen RX-7s and many 3rd gen RX-7s. Fantastic handling thanks to the low weight.

'82 Toyota Starlet was my very first GT2 car and quite the under-achiever (although later once I got better at the game I did have more success in this car).

The biggest over-achiever? It's so obvious. The Suzuki Escudo, which I've nicknamed "Excuse-O" because lots of cheaters use it as an excuse to win races which they haven't got the skillz to handle. 💡

I would say Vipers are over-achievers, but the fact is they're difficult to handle at times. They do take some skill. Vipers are only over-achievers if the driver is taking them to easy races (for cheat purposes).

There are cars that can be either over or under-achievers. Chrysler Phaeton and Aston Martin DB6 come to mind. These can be entered in some races in which they'll blow everyone away, or they can be entered in others in which they barely keep up. It's hard to find events where they're evenly-matched up with the competition.

Spoon Integra Type R is an underachiever: 260 hp, less than 2000lb, but an engine which refuses to work well under 7500rpm.

Overachiever: 3000GT LM Edition: Excellent brakes and astonishing (for its power/weight) acceleration from 0-to-60 in default settings
