Hello,
can you get rid of installed parts? I tuned the Mini Cooper a little too much, so it's overpowered for the Coopers' first race (about 100 hp too much). But I don't want to skip the race.

Thanks for every answer!

Buy the power restricter then in your cars settings, before you race go to detailed settings and under the Aerodynamics you will see power restricter. Slide the power down then do a test with triangle until you get 350PP or there abouts.

You can purchase a restricter that will lower the HP, also ballast can be purchased which (I haven’t used it yet) allows you to lower the Performance Points I believe.

Yeah but some upgrades can't be reversed e.g. weight reduction or Bore up
IMO this is a real problem and will (amongst other things) cause major money issues further down the road. I cant speak for anyone else but given the meager AI, pesonally I will be done with single player after unlocking everything in the café(which imo is just a grind). I enjoy the missions and licenses but those are very finite, I am already on like 80% through those.
They should really give you money for online races if you ask me.

You can also buy a new engine or new body to remove the upgrades that can't be undone
This is not the case. I just did an engine overhaul in my F12 Berlinetta. trying to remove the engine balance tuning, polish ports, racing crankshaft. After the 100,000 CR overhaul, all those upgrades were still installed. Seems like the only option is to buy the car again....

Unless someone has some other suggestion/advice?

i think he meant to buy a new engine from the tuning shop bruv

Also worth noting it’s not only the restrictor that downgrades your PP. The fully customizable ECU as well.
