How about this? No need to race, simply fry your opponents' vehicles at the starting grid!

6WD hahaha!

I bet this thing would be a blast on rally courses.

Seriously, those jet cars got me thinking... What would i feel like to go 700+ mph in the GT5 game engine? Now I really want to know, this could be a whole new game mode!
A straight course, maybe ten miles long, paved or not (PD is capable of either), that recreates Bonneville or Blackrock or some fictional setting should be easy enough to create. The real trick will be getting the jet propulsion systems to behave believably...

Finally someone who seriously considers this thread a bit serious for a while ( this is after all why I created this thread for in the first place to discuss or suggest vehicles you would like to experience in a PD game ), although these jet cars/record cars could be included into GT5 ( they are still technically cars right? ) when some salt lakes like Bonneville, etc. or an extremely long straight are included.
The physics could be a problem to achieve realistically, would require perhaps something halfway between GT and Ace Combat.......:)

You raise a good point about the aerodynamic physics of the game engine. We all know that GT4 had a limited wind resistance effect, and while I didn't pay the ticket for prologue, I quite liked the time trial demo. I just don't know if we'll get to see anything like this in GT5, though I hope so:

If, by some miracle of programming, PD could actually simulate air mass resistance at different speeds on different surfaces, they really could build a speed record/jet car/flight sim game. "The Real Flight Simulator" I can see it now.

Jdm_209:
Firstly, It most probably will.
Secondly, before you spam the thread with pics, you could've at least read the first post or browsed a bit through the thread to see what it's about.

That crash at le mans is rough, did the driver survive that?

My unlikely vehicles:

GoKarts
Cycling Bikes:)
Those electric scooter/bike things you can rent in hot countries
Quad bikes

sorry if any of these have been posted already

Can you imagine 10 laps around suzuka with a 32 strong field of bicycles  such fun to be had.

Jdm_209-> And that also won't work on my Vehicle Wish List thread, because those two are already on my list. :dunce:

Thats about all i can picture that won't make it in the game.

As most have already mentioned, and thank you guys for that, this is not the thread for these suggestions so Jdm_209 please remove these pics or at least refrain from further suggestions if you obviously can't be bothered to read what this thread is about.

Not only are these vehicles inappropriate for this thread, they're not even remotely unlikely to appear in GT5 as both brands are in and to suggest a high-performance version of a Japanese hatchback as an unlikely inclusion suggests little knowledge of GT in the first place.....

And saying this is all you can picture that won't make it in GT5 shows an amount of imagination I'd rather not go further into...........:indiff:

Someone needs to make those tractors in Mod Nation Racers and post them back here! They are awesome 👍

Uh, the famous Aussie who is currently leading the table in Formula 1! That happened so long ago now, back in 1999.

He got a "Sore Neck" from it.
