They're pretty random - although not the most random list so far in this thread.
GT Sport's 37 DLC cars so far have been:
4 (10.8%) - Car and Brand entirely new to the series (F1500T-A, Chris Holstrom Nova, Zagato VGT, Detomaso Pantera)
5 (13.5%) - New models from existing brands (A110 '17, R18 '16, Ford F-150, WRX Time Attack, BRZ Drift)
1 (2.7%) - Previous GT standard model (Supra A80)
27 (73.0%) - Previous GT premium model (all the others)
That means that of any 12 car list, at least 8 will probably be GT6 premiums, around 2 will be new models from existing brands, around 2 will be new brands - including VGTs and PD-branded cars - and there will be very occasionally a standard upgrade car.
Meanwhile, your list is:
0 (0%) - Car and Brand entirely new to the series
2/3 (13%/20%) - New models from existing brands
5/6 (33.3%/40%) - Previous GT standard model
7/8 (46.7%/53%) - Previous GT premium model
... and it has 14 cars on it (15 if you include both Corvettes). Or 14 if you ignore the fact we already have an Evo X and the DLC list hasn't been huge on overt model duplication like that so far.
The previous GT premium models have been patterned too. Four Toyotas, one Suzuki, two Nissans, one Mazda, three Lamborghinis and four Ferraris - along with two Dodges, two Fords, one each from Alpine, Audi, Chevrolet, Jaguar, KTM, McLaren, Shelby and Volkswagen. That's about a third Japanese, a quarter Italian, and a fifth each of US and "other". Your previous GT premiums are half Japanese, and a quarter each US and "other".
Other patterns, you ask? Well, 24% have been N300, 22% have been Gr.X and 14% N400. We've had no new Gr.3, Gr.4, N1000 or N800 cars (and there's no N900s at all in the game), but 8% have been N700, N600 and N100. Thus far, the typical DLC car has been an N300, Japanese, GT6 Premium model - and there's been five of those!
My predictions?
I'd say any two, or three, from these four:
GT6P - Acura/Honda NSX '91 (N300)
GT6P - Subaru Impreza WRX Spec C '05 (N300)
GT6P - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR TME '00 (N300)
GT6P - Nissan Fairlady Z (Z34)/370Z '08 (N300)
One or both of these:
GT6P - Chevrolet Camaro Z28 '69 (N300)
GT6P - Plymouth AAR Cuda Six Barrel '70 (N300)*
A couple from these:
GT6P - Pagani Huayra '13 (N700)*
GT6P - Lamborghini Miura P400 '67 (N400)
GT6P - Cizeta V16T '94 (N600)*
GT6P - Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale '10 (N600)
Maybe one of these:
GT6P - MINI Cooper S '11 (N200)
GT6P - Honda Civic (EK) Type R '97 (N200)
Vague possibility of these:
GT6P - Jaguar XJR-9 LM '88 (Gr.X)
GT6P - Mazda 787B '91 (Gr.X)
*These are less likely due to the need to add the manufacturer; that, so far, has happened once a month on average
That's 7-9 recycled GT6 Premium cars. If there's going to be a new model from an existing brand, the Bugatti Chiron or a 911 variant might be a good call, or possibly the McLaren P1. Standard-to-Sport seems too rare to name a car, but the next two most popular in our Suggestions forum are the BMW M3 (E46) CSL and the Impreza 22B. As for all-new... that's typically a Vision GT or a Pebble Beach/SEMA winner - the Tomaso was an exception to the rule.
Of course if the update isn't in March and appears on April 9th, we've got the GR Supra Racing Concept and Audi VGT to put on the list.
