*Runs to the couch to count the change*

I'm afraid if I bought it, it'd be on the street every weekend, meaning half the world would be at my door waiting to punch me in the face when I got home.

A car like that doesn't deserve to not be driven. If i ever become rich, im going to buy all my favorite muscle cars, and then drive them as much as i could. You can't take it with you when you die, so why keep it locked up in a room forever.

Amazing its being sold on ebay. My dad was telling me he was looking at 'the best muscle car museum' and it had one car, i think it was a dodge daytona, with all the best options and only 13mi on it, now thats amazing.

^^ Agreed, I would never drive this car if it were mine... if I were wealthy enough to afford it, I'd surely have another 'driver' Grand National.

^^ I don't get it. If you weren't going to drive it, why not just have a giant hi-res picture of it instead? It would serve the same purpose. It's a CAR. it's MEANT to be driven.

I'd just find another GN and mod it to the old GR.A touring specs, or D1 specs but that's just me.

I agree about the "meant to be driven" thing, to a point...I'd be afraid to drive something so rare and valuable. Above 10,000 miles, value would get sliced in half.

My opinion is that cars shouldn't be allowed to get to this point. Besides, I'd be worried about seals and such after it's sat that long...

Because it has less than 10 miles on it, that's why... gotta keep it mint so future generations can marvel at it's bad-ass-ness.

depending on what type of future generations come out of this bs global warming scare.

The average person, even today, would most likely say "I wouldn't wan't to have a car like that, its a gas hog" *slaps average person across the face*

I do understand the rarity of the car, but i just feel bad for it. The poor thing will never get to spread its wings and fly, feel the wind in its grill, or sense the fear of ricers all around :D That kind of car, in my mind, has a personality of its own.

a car like that needs exercise at lease once a week, it doesn't deserve to be caged all of it's life, but obviously you wouldn't want to make it your daily driver.
cars are for driving, yes some are worth being very careful with, but theres really no point in spending that much on a giant paper weight.

It looks very badass in motion, but even more so when it's got smoke pouring from the fender wells.

EBay
As above, please keep in mind that no used vehicle is perfect, expect some normal cosmetic and mechanical wear.
Hah! Riiiight.

*Right clicks and saves all the pictures for future reference*
I've got an unbuilt model a couple feet away. This makes me want to start.

This is the second time someone's listed this car. I guess it didn't sell before @ $120k. If I was a millionaire I would DEFINATELY buy this car...in a heartbeat. Imagine if you bought this, trailered it to your garage and never drove it how much MORE it would be worth in another 20 years? I couldn't even imagine. I don't care what anyone says, the GNX is one of the coolest American cars ever. I'd rather have this over ANY Corvette, of ANY trim, and of ANY year. This says; "hey I'm bad F'ing ass". I'd give anything to own one of these. Cheapest one I've ever seen is $7k locally.

*edit*
To make it clear how much I love this car, I'd rather put heavy miles on a Ferrari and store the GNX.

How does how many miles it has reduce it's badassness? (Badassity?) If u keep it in mint condition, it really doesn't matter. What do the future generations have to marvel at? What it looks like? How it pulls? How does the fact that it's never had a decent run in its life make it more badass than, say, another GN-X that's done thousands of miles but the owner has taken care of it like a baby?
I thinks a car that's been used the way it was intended is far more badass than something that's never seen what a corner looks like.

And personally, I feel, as an enthusiast, the value of a car is the joy you get out of driving it, not how much money you get when you sell it. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

That is why you buy two. Once like this one to store and another one to drive. Having driven one a few times it is such a blast to drive. Puts the Corvettes and F-body cars to absolute shame. I'd love to drop this drivetrain in my Camaro--infact it is a distinct possiblity that I might. 👍

I'd buy it, put a bigger turbo on it, throw some MT ET Drags on it, and go down the track in it every chance I got.

Then get on the street and give it to some high school kid in his Mustang, For a couple blocks and be like 'THE CAR IS OLDER THEN YOU BITCH!'

Not so much on the age crack.
