Lets see who's up for Racing for GTPlanet in the next Board Challenge? It has been talked about on other boards recently ... GT3times will be hosting the next comp and possibly the same format as the previous 3 comps with
10 Racers representing each board Races can vary from 1- 5 lappers / Tar tracks / Rally Tracks / Wet Tracks in all kinds of combos.

I think we will have a decent turnout for this one with so many decent/commited racers in the WRS ... so who's interested?

As always! Not All of the Interested Drivers will get a place in the comp as there are only 10 races in the competition But we need to see If we can build a team to put forward and Represent our Home Board to the best of our abilities 👍

You could do a registration race to select the 10 best racers out there.

But do it fast, I guess you have a deadline to respect for that challenge!

Of course, just moding the weekly isn't enough to earn the spot.
So I will do my best in the next few weeks.

Everyone should know something on top of what Mr P said... (not to point out the 1 neglected point or anything)

Replay verification is required for this sort of "board challenge."

Either mailing your mem. card to the race organizers or sending your Xport replay is required (at least it was last year).

Regarding other concerns...
The racers from the gtp last year did all right.
Not great, but all right.

With the crop of racers now picking apart the weekly I would hope that bc4 will be even better for the gtp.

7th was the overall last time (coincidentally I placed 7th in my event).

So let's all hope for 7th or better this time around as well.

That's also gonna come down to some good race selections too.

They will let you Race with no replay device as long as you are willing to send replays on your memory card to a verifier closest to your location, If you can agree to those terms! I cant see a problem 👍

I'll do this if Im quick enough. I dont get much exposure to
the weekly race series but when I race Im not right at the back of the pack !!

I have x-port so can verify all my times as well.

I would be up for it but I don't have enough results to prove my worth. Maybe next time. If someone drops out though i'd be more than happy to help.

I'm definitely interested ... don't know that I'm fast enough, I haven't been racing many weeklies lately, but when I do, I'm usually between the middle of the pack and the podium in div 2. Still chasing my first div 2 win though.

Running some sort of qualifier race seems like a fair way to pick our 10 representatives.

As always Im interested, having run in previous challenges, I'll certainly run the qualifying race, and replay verification is not a problem

I'm interested, but replays could be a problem for me. Will they accept .avi or.wmv movies? Otherwise, there'd have to be a verification person in the Toronto area, or I could always buy an Xport (how much do they cost and where could I get one btw?).

Sorry EvO, but the Xport has been discontinued. You can find them on Ebay though.

My PS/2 has been broken for several weeks now but I guess I could borrow my neighbor's or even buy a new one if I have to. I was planning on waiting for GT4 to get one but I guess I could buy it early if I am needed to support the GTP:tup:

Anyway it was fun (and frustrating) last time, been waiting for another one

Someone hit an invisible wall, was penalised "x" seconds and threw a complete and total wobbly.

I can't actually remember, but that's the usual course of action.

Since I don't have an X-Port, the whole replay verification sounds like too much of a hassle for me, so I'll sit out this board challenge, and wait for the first GT4 board challenge (hopefully it'll be online!).
