I love this update. I think it's by far the best so far.

Yea if they made the custom gearbox right id be well happy now....I dont care about graphix or shadows....I drive bumper cam.....cockpit isnt that realistic anyway....

Its not just this game, it just isnt if you drive a real car. you dont see the edge of the windscreen or the clocks or your hands on the wheel.

Im not even so bothered about premium cars...I only see em for 3 seconds after I finnish a race...big deal they look like they were cut out with crimping scissors....Dont see that in a race.

I think they have done an awesome job on car handling.....Past versions were vague...they touched on it with the scary Viper etc but its better than ever now....I havent driven that many cars but have driven more than some on track days....its pretty much as good as its gonna get on the G25 wheel I have.

Ill salute PD for what they have done with 3 patches in a month....Most developers dont bother. For me fix the custom Gearbox and give more options online, game is fixed.....Then release the DLC tracks and cars.

Ill buy it all if the game is fixed!

TO ALL WHO GOT FREEZE AFTER THE UPDATE...
Here the answer: (because it happenned to me too)
1. Delete the Game Data Utility - GT5
Sometimes it freeze too, but it's oke, just restart your PS, (file is corrupt) and try do delete again until the file delete
DO NOT DELETE SAVED DATA UTILITY!!!!!
2. Download again the update
The point is: your PS should be not save data GT before update, file crash.
The update should install first, then the game.

First time: Delete game data, installed game, then patch. Nope.

Second time: Delete game data, installed patch, then game. Nope.

I don't know if it's 1.05 or if it is because of the holidays but ever since 1.05 online is absolutely unstable. On the rare occasions that I can successfully log in I get booted before I am able to do anything.

This sucks.

Has anybody seen, the RE Amemiya FD3S cockpit being fixed (before the patch, the instrument needles where visible through the steering wheel, when fully turning lock to lock)?

Today, it was the first time, GT5 froze.
I triangle clicked a car, to switch in the context menu, but the menu didn't come up.
Instead, GT5 was unresponsive until a restart.

After the restart, loading was much slower than usual, but the game ran stable after all.

Can the JTCC Skylines compete in this? I know they are NOT listed in the allowed cars. But the mandatory specs are exactly the same as those racing machines (something like around 400bhp and 1100kg).

And I'm not gonna buy one and try, as I'm raising money to get the PD formula car

Yeah that most of the time I join the Recommended Rooms I don't get Disconnected from the server (Which used to happen alot to me)

I've already done everything in a-spec except for the formula championship and some enduros, so I can't win any cars from any of those races any more...

HUD is an acronym for Heads-Up Display. It is the graphic overlays on your screen (speedometer, tach, trackmap, lap number, race position, etc.)

I actually don't think I have it as well. Anywhere... I haven't searched extensively but I did not see in end race replays or in the saved ones.

Trying this tomorrow, looks like it works for others too. I thought this is what I'd have to do. Install time is terrible. Thank you for confirming what I thought would work.
