I don't know, I guess the guy in charge of VR doesn't care about it :(

What bothers me the most with what we have, is that the race completion screen just flashes past, I have got a look at it when my ps4 pro mustt have been running slow, because I saw the screen has press X to proceed. Yet on my install the screen proceeds without me pressing X.

Hopefully once the FIA championship thing is off and running, they will give the VR guy a kick to get his thumb out.

They actually just added ToD selection in VR. So you can do tracks in the sunset or night or whatever times are available.
I've always had different times of day to select from in VR, I guess you mean they have added some more that weren't previously available in VR?
I'll have to check them out later.

I don’t know, I just heard that from someone in the 1.13 discussion thread. I don’t use VR so I’m not actually sure if anything’s new or not. I’ll try to find that post again if I can.

Hasn't Kaz already mentioned that what is technically possible for VR and PS4 is limited anyway?

Its not like GT Sport is the only racing game that has under utilised VR potential, PC2 dosent even offer it even though they have full VR options on the PC version.

Honestly VR is undercooked on this console generation.

The horsepower is not there to deliver a triple A gaming experience with graphics you’d expect from a game like GTS.

If you’re a development team with limited time resources, you focus on fixing and implementing features that make the biggest impact on the player base. Unfortunately VR users are a very, very small percentage of the current player base.

The next consul generation will have much better VR.

It's a Sony flagship-game still at this moment. And it was announced as THE ULTIMATE VR driving game. They were quite willing to sell 2 million PSVR's and lots of PS4 Pro's at the time.
I find it extremely arrogant not to even give a valid reason for the lack of VR support. Of course I understand that the PS4 is not strong enough, but the PS4 Pro can do it.
It seems to be impossible to even let us drive more than 2 laps with an ai that is passed before the first turn.
How difficult can it be to only extend the number of laps? Even without an ai this would be an improvement.
Now it is a bad joke!

Kaz has already alluded to time trials coming to VR mode.

I wouldn't say it's arrogant.. in previews Kaz stated that VR technology is not where it needs to be to be fully utilised.

PS4 pro is certainly no where near powerful enough to do full GT sport at full resolution.

Be thankful that's vr is available.. Project Cars 2 has it on PC and absolutely nothing for PS4.

I think your forgetting PD only has a finite amount of resources and these are allocated on more pressing development.. VR is not the be all and end all for developers
