I don't know where the deep rumbly sound of a speed 6 engine comes from but did people expect it to be a V8 or something? It sounds pretty accurate to me in the game.
You could argue it needs a little more aggression. Something that applies to all cars. But the basic sound is accurate. Maybe people are confusing it with the old Rover V8 engined Tuscan’s.

Very disappointing DLC. Im sorry but many of these make no sense in a game that is for the most part one big racing series. Yes road cars can be fun racing but lets be honest, there not. I want to see cars like the (Modern) Ford GT Race Car, New Vantage GT3 and if there going to be road cars at least be ones that the automotive world is in a buzz about. Cars like the RCF Track Edition, WRX S209, Shelby GT500 all NAIAS cars but in the future. Not cars that were in GT's of old because rendering for GT Sport is less work on there part.

I have a minor complaint. I’m not a fan of the tinted rear window on the integra. I don’t care if it’s a factory option. They should include cars as stock as possible in my opinion. Same deal with the R33 GT-R. Why???

Yes, a very minor issue, but an issue nonetheless.

A little bit lower pitched maybe but otherwise its accurate.

I'll be honest, roadcars are my favorite to race and drive in, some of the best races I've ever had were in roadcars. Each car has its own strengths and weaknesses and a game like Gran Turismo really focuses on a car's individual character compared to its peers and its context, I think that variety is what really draws me into the driving experience. Racecars are nice too and they're obviously for racing but they feel a bit too prepared for racing for me, like they're too perfect, too good at cornering and hard to mess up in (The good racecars atleast), they're a fair bit less fun to me. Roadcars are truly diverse in that they're not limited by a rulebook beyond what makes them street legal, from muscle cars, to track cars, to supercars to classic cars with skinny tyres and advanced Grand Tourers of all eras, they all have some merit to me in analysis.

Great addition!

Love the new track in VR, the AI are actually a good opponent as they are programmed to sit in your slipstream , can make for some good racing!

One let down, no twilight or night mode in VR for the new track

Saving some credits for the new cars...

People like different things. I want more modern stuff, but road cars have always been big with GT too.

I'd think GT will get there building the content back up like they are. Forza built up a huge variety with road cars, muscle, drifting, modern racing, f1, etc that took this whole generation and sharing cars in Forza Horizon.

GTS is transitioning into a more traditional GT while also refining and improving Sport mode. Road cars like the Integra, DBS, 356 and Dino are icons. They should be part of any GT. A number of those are also all new to the series.

There needs to be a little more understanding about the realities of game development, licensing, marketing etc. In recent months PD have added many road cars, but also Group C, Super GT and two single-seaters. I too would like to see new GTE/GT3 cars, but the post launch introduction of the Gr.3 911 RSR showed PD where behind schedule, when it came to offering a full compliment of manufacturers for the FIA season.

Given a new car can take 12 months from scanning to release, not to mention any licensing issues. It’s only now we can realistically expect to see a second batch of race cars, ie Ford GT, Ferrari 488, Aston Martin Vantage. If I was running PD’s marketing dpt. I’d look to release them alongside a track like Spa or Silverstone. Same goes for Daytona (road course and oval), it makes sense to pair them with the re-introduction of NASCAR.

Given all the above. It’s perfectly understandable why PD would sandwich the Christmas break with a pair of fantasy tracks and selection of historic and modern classic cars. Let’s be honest, we can realistically only expect one further full year of DLC support. Neither would I be surprised if we start to see some paid content. If we do get 12 months of updates we should finally receive many of the most anticipated cars and tracks. Everyone will be catered for.

Well, I am not one to go on the debate about what should/should not be included in a game but for me I would like to see GT Sport
include every car that has been included in the Gran Turismo series in the past so I am actually quite happy with some of these older
cars being added today as they are very firm favorites from the past.

I know it is very unlikely to happen in this installment but just remember this is not the final GT game we will have and that the next
game will most likely feature a whole lot of new cars we have not seen before along with everything that's on the current game.

There were already Scapes locations in Cambridge, I've been to a lot of them to recreate the camera angles :P
Does anyone have any screenshots of the new locations please? I'm hoping there are some more areas I recognise!

Has anyone done any extensive test on the revised physics?

I would like to hear more input on this as well. Drove for 20 minutes this morning. Quick early impressions were; feels like more/faster grip loss when turning in too much on entry, more road feel, opposite when exiting under power. A little more exit grip. More predictable limits when exiting under power. I think overall faster times are there with the update.

I will say I do like the Aston Martin DB3S, Ferrari Dino 246 GT, Honda Integra Type R (DC2), Shelby G.T.350 1965, but why could we not have the new TVR Griffth instead we get a TVR that is 18 years old and drives like the tires are made of wood. Although looking back the Speed 6 back in GT5 I believe it was, with the racing modifications was a bad ass car. However the road car version is ok. What really sucks is the track they added. Yes were lucky to get anything thats a track but seriously......

I did not see any new ones. They just put the old ones in a package.

is that right that they've ditched the fuel warning message from the middle of the screen? If so, where's it moved to?

Did you know that if you stop by on the back straight / middle of SSR-X Circuit (the one with satelites) at night, you can literally hear some wildlife sounds to tell that you are alone in the middle of basically nowhere.

No Spa, Underwhelming cars and also wait 2 week for this update.

This is how I feel about it.
Imagine if you had paid for it, how mad you would be.

Um, there’s still a good amount of interesting circuits to race on. Don’t pretend like they don’t exist.
Im not pretending anything, its just that in its current state GT Sport gives me very little. So with the limited playtime that i have i choose to play something i find more enjoyable. I have played every GT game from the first to the last but GT Sport is the only one, at least for now, i have lost interest in. I really hope it will change but with the direction and priorities of late i dont see that happening any time soon. I really hope im wrong.
