It is not clear if some upgrades improve performance or not.
If an upgrade changes the weight, the handling, the speed etc., then please let me know.
For example, if I fit a carbon drivetrain, I assume it lightens the car and reduces rotating mass. However, it never seems to affect Performance Points. So maybe there is no benefit?
And new wheels? Reduced unsprung weight? If so, by how much? Are all wheels equal? Are they purely cosmetic? I can live with this, but it would be nice to know.
What does a flat underfloor do? Reduce the drag coefficient? Higher top speed for the same power? Change downforce? Alter PP?
These are just some examples. If I am to invest in such add-ons, I'd like to have a clear reason.
