OK, for the entire Deralta.net website, I coded it using notepad. Amazingly so that I could put that much info together with such a simple program. Yes, it is basic, but it works.

I finally managed to squirrel away enough money to pick up MS Font page. While the editing looks easier and the coding (color) looks to work easier, I'm at a loss as to how to upload anything to my website. I can download all the info from the site as well as deleting files from the site. But for some reason, I can't "Publish" any work I do.

Maybe I should ask this way, Is there a way I can map a network drive to my site from my computer? I'm running broadband on a 2.2 gig machine. Windows XP.

For the first person that suggest I upgrade to Dreamweaver, I'll note that the wife would have certain disagreements with me shelling out $600+ for a website I do for fun.

Thanks!

It's highly unlikely that your web server will allow you to map a drive to it.

Digging back into my memory of FrontPage, you should be able to configure Publishing on the computer, whereby it uses FTP to connect to your web server and upload the changes.

If you can't get this to work, I suggest you get hold of a copy of an FTP program such as CuteFTP, which will do the directory synchronisation for you.

Can you ftp to/from other, public, sites?

Thanks Giles.

I fianlly figured it out. And as I feared, it's a forehead smack problem.

Apparently not all of the MS Frontpage extensions had been loaded onto my web page. So after refering to MS help on the Frontpage website (oddly enough, very well written and helpful) I uninstalled the extensions on deralta.net and reinstalled them.

It now works like a charm.

Now to see if my other administrator can still access it.

Excellent. Your other administrator uses Dreamweaver, so shouldn't be having a problem with it. ;)
