After Christmas I was in the market for an aluminium profile rig, I was using a GT Omega classic wheelstand with the rear seat frame.
I was torn between the GtOmega Prime Lite or the Trakracer TR80 Lite but by the time I could get one the prices had gone up to around £400.
So I did some digging and found this which I'd not heard of before but was £300.

After reading the info I decided for that price it was a bargain ( the Simhound chassis for the same price is thinner profile, 3060 )
I emailed them to ask if they did a shifter/handbrake mount, they replied that they didn't yet but if I bought a mouse plate which came with a 300m piece of 8040 profile, they'd send me a Trakracer TR One shifter add-on for free, which normally sells for £40.

I bought it and as it's 120cm long it's better if you have a limited space to use.
I've got to say the rig is fantastic, it's rock solid and the wheeldeck and pedal deck are both really substantial. There's no flex. The build instructions were top notch and I'd fully recommend it to anyone in the market for a profile rig.

Hi,

I second that opinion.

Just bought one of these myself. Its perfect! Zero flex. Infinitely adjustable / expandable. Faultless piece of kit!!!
It's quite incredible (IMHO) how these guys can knock these out at this price, when you look at what else is available on the market.

It has made a huge difference and improvement to my enjoyment of Gran Turismo7. Every detail generated by the game is being transmitted to the wheel now. It much more fun!

All I need now is my new Fanatec wheel and base and I am complete. LOL

Best regards to all here.

Ian.

For some reason the Trakracer TR80 Lite price has shot up to £499 which is the same price as the TR80 Mk5, not sure what they're thinking with that
