Hey all.

Due to me procrastinating as per usual, i have left my wedding duties almost to the last minute (last hours' perhaps? ;)) and now need an image photoshopped ASAP as it is for the invitations to the wedding.

Our wedding is on April 7th but invitations need to be printed out and sent within the next week or two.

So basically a GTPlanet Premium subscription for one year will be given to the member whose version of the photoshopped image we like best. Obviously first in first served!

Anywho. My fiance loves cows, so this cow represents her;
cow.jpg

And i love Tryrannosuarus Rex's, so this image represents me:
t-rex-zoom.jpg

And to be arranged kinda like this incredible drawing;
t-rex-zoom-1.jpg

Pretty much have it so the cow (which is likely going to have to be shrunken a bit) is wholey in the bottom corner looking all innocent, and then the T-rex looms above it ready to bite. ;)

It would be prefered to have all the background clutter (people, lights, barriers, t-rex holder-upper thingy etc - everything in red prety much) removed and it could be replaced by a natural landscape setting (blue sky, green feild etc), or maybe just continue the darkish background around everything. I'm not sure what would look best at the moment?

But yeah, spread it around photoshoppers if you can please as really need this done and i don't have the skills or programmes to do it myself!

If the winner already has a GTP Premium subscription then they can nominate someone else who i'll gift it to. :)

Here's what I've done so far. I'm thinking of making the background farm like with woods in the background. How about the Windows XP background?

Wow that was quick. :D Yeah, the XP background was along the lines of the sort of background i was trying to describe. :) Something that is natural for the cow, but odd for the t-rex.

Don't know what your skill level is, but it would be preferred (if it's even possible) to make it look like the cow and the rex are part of the same image, instead of cropped together. You've already done a better job than i did once anyway! :D

Hmm.... I can try blurring the outlines of the cow, and maybe rotating the cow so that they look like they're both on even ground. As for the background, it will take some time fto find the perfect background. Won't your guests be like WTF when they see thattheres a T-Rex eating a Cow in front of the wedding card?

Maybe that's what he's looking for. The world is too up tight these days. Luckily some people still have a sense of humor.

Okay, I guess I could give this a try. It's these particular images you are wanting in the final result?

Correctamungo. :D The whole wedding will hopefully be untraditional. My fiance has a dark purple dress and i'll be in white. Wedding cake will be lolly cake at the bottom and white choc mud cake as the second layer. writing our own vows and hopefully giving the celebrant some funny things to say. And yadda yadda.

I personally don't like being normal/traditional as it is too boring. :P

I don't know if this T-Rex will work, since its rear leg is hidden behind a stand.
What about 'chopping' the right leg into the left leg's place?
Or maybe a white space there so we can enter our names in that area?

:) Preferably yes.

How about this? The original image is 2308x1944 so a bit more usable for printing.

I left some space around it for writing on.

Couldn't you just take that scene from the first Jurassic Park where the cow got lowered into the enclosure?

Edit: Just realized that it was a velociraptor enclosure. My bad. Nevermind.

For the sake of making your wedding invitations look really good, I'm going to try at this.... with pencil and paper. Now hand me a $4500 deposit

I'll do it for $9000. :)

$4500 for you, $4500 for me ;)

Actually, I've been hit with too much work from school, so I won't have time to do a drawing. Sorry, SkylineObsession.

WOW!! Well so far GG is winning, i guess a natural background is the way to go then. :)

Is there any way to fake a shadow of the t-rex, like by using a transparent paint tool? Depends how good you are at drawing t-rex's though i suppose.

Thanks a lot to everyone for their attempts/intended attempts etc. :)

May only have until this weekend to have this done, so only four days left. :scared:

Right, try this:

I added a negative brightness adjustment layer, then unmasked it in a rough shadow shape. I'm no artist though!

I think we should make it Chomper the T-rex out of Land Before Time movie or Rex the T-rex out of Toy Story :D

I not sure I like the big angry t-rex trying to bite my poor little cows head off :(

By the way...... I'm SkylineObsessions wife to be :P

Could we possibly continue with the current pictures, but I'd like to see a mock up of one with this picture instead of the mean t-rex :)

Hello Future-Mrs-SkylineObsession!

How do you want your cartoon T-Rex sized compared to the cow? And do you have that image any bigger? It's fine for screen use, but could be a bit ropey printed on card.

Edit : really no pun intended

Or how about the Trex and the cow sitting in the R32 driving past .... cops, speed trap, church,....

Alright, let's hit this one up Chomper-style...

Probably not entirely what you were after but I had a few minutes spare and thought I'd give it a whirl.

Original size is pretty big if you want it...

Haha, i think it would have to be a cartoon cow too, sorry Chomper. ;)

Apparently my_r32 and her mother were talking the other day and said maybe to try stop the T-rex looking so angry by putting a white top hat on it, and maybe a viel on the cow if it can be done and look okay.

And i came up with the idea of having the t-rex say something like (in a speech bubble) "Rarr?"

HOPEFULLY there is nothing else that needs to be changed/added. Massive thanks to you so far GG, and again all others who have contributed. :)

Great job Speedster, did you draw that by hand (on a compy of course)?

I suppose it would be counted as drawing it by hand, yes. I took the images you had and just used some Photoshop tools to create a illustration based variant of it. Probably not what you wanted but I thought it might look okay.

Mmm, I'll have a poke about on Flickr to see if I can find any top hats that would be usable. I think the veil would be very difficult to do without looking terrible.

(Yes, I know, I'm compositing an image with a T-Rex and a cow, and I'm worried about credibility...)

Right, I'm really struggling to find a usable top hat for you. When do you need this by? I don't want the deadline to slip by without uploading the hi-res version.
