sounds like a good competition but i have two questions:
1. if we send in a time and then improve on it a week later, can we resubmit the new better time?

2. can't any of the NSX's be included in this competition?

1. Just don't send in your times untill the due date

2. The NSX's all are to slow on stage 1 NA and on stage 2 they have too much power so either way its unfair to use them. Also I think the supras Are a little to fast I hope I don't have to remove them cuz the it will just be GTS and not US vs. JPN.

alright .....i was going to use the Denso if the NSX's weren't in it ... put me down as a possible and one more thing: i'm assuming the tires are normal or can we use what we want for the 20 lapper?

Im doing some more testing with the NSX I might add it but it might be a little under powered. I will aslo add the Imprezza LM :cheeburga to the list as soon as I get its final hp and specs.

I won't remove the supras if they are to fast I just won't use them in the regular season.

I would do just that but its not possible to add those parts to the LM and JGTC cars

But I ran a few in the NSX today with NA stage1 (554hp) and I was pulling 1:14's on T3 tires so Id say it will hold its own against the rest of the pack.

Well, I've raced about 1/2 the cars so far, have them all set up, just not enough hours in the day to finish them all. And the very fastest car so far is...... dum didi dum.... wait, I can't give it all away! Up til now, Apricot Hill has not been one of my favorite courses... but it's amazing how much you can like a course once you have your cars set up right. I must admit that I have been surprised, good and bad, about some of the cars. It's nice to know in this game that for as long as I've been playing it, there are still some nice surprises. Time for bed :sleep:

i might have to forget about the NSX's .....they are a little underpowered for their weight and i'm not sure yet if the beautiful handling characteristics of the MR will prevail over the power defficiency ......might have to go with the DENSO 😈

Well I'm gonna shelf my old favourite the Denso Sard and just to be different I’ve decided to settle on the Impreza LM Racecar….had one race to test tyre/pit strategy and could only come up with a 1:14.885 best lap so far. Can't wait to see if I can pull this thing into some decent lap times. I like the style of this challenge so I will be back into it as soon as I can find time in between work, real life, TORC6 and any other challenges I’m taking part in!! :smilewink

Prancing Horse: I dunno what the Imprezza is cabable of yet, but I too was running 1:14's. I havent run it full force yet but I will soon.

I've tested all the other cars so far and they all are cabale of reaching 1:13's even the NSX!

Supras: The Supra is unfortunatly too fast I've gotten 1:11's with it and I'm fairly certain it can get into the 1:10's. The only other car I've gotten close to that time in is the Viper but my best in it was a 1:12.8xx. So I will allow the supras in this spot race but I will be removing them from the regular season when it starts.

GT3 Times MB: I have not been able to update this thread over there because I have not been able to access the site for some reason. Whats up with that ?

GTF: The GTF is down now so I can't update there untill it goes back up.

Having some fun with this little Impreza now, changed my tyre and pitstop strategies and had another 3 blasts around the Hill, managed to blow 40 seconds out of my total race time. Plenty more to come out of this little gem.

I like the Impreza also. Problem is I can't seem to find a good set up for it. In some sections, it's super quick, but in others, it's a pain in the posterior. Oh well, time to see if I can find some better settings for it because, right now, the nsx is quicker around the course. But I have definitely eliminated some of the cars, so I guess the final decision is going to get easier.

Fake LM's: Yeah Grandi is right I know for sure that RX-7 is way faster than any thing on the list all those dream/LM cars are too light with around the same power as every thing on the list. The altezza is the only one left I'd consider adding but there is one more non LM I will add. Also I didn't add the altezza from the start because it seems more like a DTM than a GTS car, but it dose fit the specs. I think I'll add them in the next race as I will be removing the supras.

FTO: I gave the FTO a spin lastnight I got some consist 1:13's but that was with VCD at 10%. I like this car but Im not going to add it just because its too light. I think with the proper set up this car will also be un beatable by the rest of the pack.

NEW: BTW the other car I was thinking of Adding was the Vertigo. Im almost done breaking it in and I'll be posting it soon,along with some lap times I got with it. Its a little bit slower because of its topend being lower but it gets excelent tire wear. :cheeburga

Hiya Guys,

I'm still gonna stick with the Impreza LM. Had a spin with it in free run and managed to punch out a 1:11.671 for a fastest lap. Doesn't really mean much for the big picture though coz in its race set up (Tyre/pit combo) I ain't getting anywere near these times damn it!! Still I'm pretty happy with my race results so far, It will be interesting to see how they stack up against the Supra's and Viper's times.

Supras: As some of the viper drivers are reaching 1:11's I will not be removing the supras from future races. I think they will be needed to keep the series fair.
