I might join this if there's space! But I don't think I'll make the enduros, do you mind? If I do join I'll use the ISF RM. What mods are allowed? My PSN is HDTCommodore.

yay! I'll join if you don't mind me missing the enduros. you had the right idea putting the link in your sig, thats where i saw it. (remember me from the "worst you've dealt with online" thread, i was the neighbourhood cable one)

yeah the Mildura maniac , welcome mate, we are still in the development stage and planning a possible pre season race soon, then officially start every thing early 2013,

Hi Dave,
Mate, is it permissible for me to join as a spectator?
I'd love to just park on the infield/pits sometime and just watch you guys do your stuff. I may pick up some much needed tips towards my learning curve. :sly: Sounds like a fantastic event you have organized and the track naming is superb. ;)

maybe we get you to be some form of steward? as long as your not like Mark Skaife and ruin it for everyone

thanks bud, If you really use your imagination you can almost see the tracks appear... in your head!

When is this supposed to be scheduled again? I'd love to get back into my curb-hopping enjoyment... I miss curb-hopping.

hmmm, well, I couldn't do it at a time that suited my home life, but now I can, and I'm thinking maybe a re structure of the V8 Super Car category, to include the Falcon, C5R and the Mercedes DTM, and possibly a NISSAN,

  Wicked sense of humour, I LOVE it. ;)
Man, that'd be so kool....I'm sure I could be fair about things. :sly:
To be honest, this year I may actually watch and enjoy some racing again.
I know the V8's have been the domain for the old Ford v Holden battle for many years, but I feel an injection of new blood, in the form of manufacturers will liven things up. :) I got quite bored with them, apart from Bathurst. :)

Hint to Kaz......How about it huh? Nissan V8, Mercedes V8, Toyota, Chrysler?? Man, this could snowball. :)

Hint to Kaz, come on mate, you have 1000 cars in the game, 800 different versions of skyline, I'm fairly sure if the Ultima V8 supercar came up in DLC we would be slightly less offended then you giving us the 2013 version of your Nurb 24hr car,

Ultima? Ultima GTR?

Or did you mean Altima? :yuck:

I'd be happy to see the Altima/Ultima as well as the other V8 contenders make it into GT6, so long as copyright doesn't screw us over again...:ill: The lone (race) Falcon in GT5 is rather lonely.
Maybe with the inclusion of Bathurst, this may happen. 👍

Note: But yeah, they could cull the number of GTR's first to make room for new blood. :)

PS; I have just built my LEXUS IS-F RM in anticipation. :)
Never would've guessed this car could look so hot, and had no idea is was RM-able. :sly:

Point I was trying to make is:

Ultima GTR

#15 V8 Supercar Altima. :sly:

But, yeah, the IS-F RM is a great car, just mind the trigger I mean throttle, it can kill.

Yeah, think I'd still prefer to see cars tunable to RM than another GTR. :P , but that's just me. ;)

And I think the Altima looks not unlike this. :)

can i use the is f racing concept? or must it be the rm. I don't care either way much as i haven't bought either yet.

The cars you see in the OP are the only ones that Dave has tested for equivalency. Problem is, we don't want people to bring faster/slower cars, and not have an enjoyable time.

the IS-F racing concept was my first choice of car to use, as its spec's were 500BHP @1380KG If I remember right, but for some stupid reason it was just SLOW! so I didn't go with it, I'm going to re spec the cars during the week to allow the C5R corvette or Camaro LM/ RM,

so the new car list should look like,

Ford XR8,
Camaro/ Corvette,
IS-F RM/ IS-F concept,
Mercedes CLK DTM,

also will re spec the muscle cars as well,

... Might be no power, too much downforce, or just a general out-pacing.

Did you balance through lap times, speed, tire wear, or all?

its like trying to race a swan against a F1 car, re check that post mate, EDITED!

Is it because of the jacked up power curve that the ISF concept has? I tuned the car before, and it felt like it was killing itself to get through each gear.

I don't remember what it was exactly, but this was prior 2.09 so maybe the new physic's make it better,
not likely as it was struggling in a straight line,

oh, i don't want either lexus now. I want to use a mercedes-benz. can i use the clk-lm?

joking, i want to use the CLK DTM
