What tire compound are we using? Didn't see it on the main page.

I'm thinking on the structure of tires, I spec'd all the cars on racing hard tires, but the medium's maybe the way we go,

O I just looked at the laps! Well, I may as well give it a go. I was going to say what i would choose as tires if it was free, and i'd say rh if tire ware is on.

well, I dare say we will use all 3 tire compounds, some events may even have tire wear off, Hards for enduro's, Mediums for most sprint events and softs as an option tire and tire to be used at street courses, mainly so you can control your vehicle,

I'd say we do it like the real deal, hards for enduros and a more aggressive option tire like soft/medium for sprints that must be used at least once.

Im not an advocate for tire wear off as the real V8s seem to have an emphasis on tire conservation skills.

Tire wear off would only be for sprint rounds on street tracks,

I like phil's idea, and I definitely want tire/fuel wear on.

agreed, I will do some testing later on, just to see if soft tires can last the distance,

I'd like to put my Mach I on the grid. Any way to see a race in the near future?

All these car's were spec'd with maximum tuning part's available, please keep in mind the PP level's are there to keep aero down,

new spec's for modern muscle, 680BHP @1400KG, Camaro SS '10 must not exceed 616PP
Camaro at 616PP keep's the aero point's down to 15 front and 30 rear, equal to the dodge,

new spec's for classic muscle, 550BHP @ 1285KG suggested, neither car can exceed 590PP
590PP keep's aero/ BHP in check, but how you tune aero/ bhp is entirely up to you,

and now spec's for v8 supercar category, All engine tuning is allowed,
PP level's are here to limit down force point's for some car's,
Lexus IS-F Racing concept, 700BHP @ 1350KG, 628PP
Lexus IS-F RM, 634BHP @ 1350KG, 622PP
Ford Falcon XR8, 640 @ 1350KG, 625PP
Corvette C5R, 590BHP @ 1339KG, 618PP
Camaro LM, 600BHP @ 1360KG, 616PP
Merc CLK TC, 575BHP @ 1200KG, 615PP,

the CLK may not be added to the car list pending further testing,

here is the car list mate, I don't know about the PP matches if there still relevant after the latest update,

The muscle car master's series underwent a complete overhaul of changes, so much so it went from road cars to race cars,

You could add the gtg trans-cammer to tcm, the '70/'71 stangs raced in atcc.

Although I don't know if tcm is anything like the old atcc.

btw, you don't have to pay any attention to any of my suggestions.

I had thought about it, but its to heavy and has no front downforce,

When is this series gonna start?

it will start before the official V8SC series gets under way, I'm extremely booked between now and March, With Champions league and the 24hr race,

Dave,
I've been checking the specs on these V8 Super cars. All my cars are broke in and the PP's are not matching up. For instance, the Ford Falcon only gets 575pp. That's 50pp down from what you have.

yeah the PP's were all set before the latest update, it was only there for the Muscle cars anyway, to keep the downforce down,

Do you want all the new PP's for the cars with full downforce?

I'm thinking about taking the Corvette or the Ford Falcon.

I should already have them as the game would have altered them as I have them set up, I previously had the PP limit in for the Camaro's and Corvettes in all categories, it quelled their outright speed quite a lot, specially as the Camaro SS'10 RM and the Dodge T/C didn't match up for some reason aero wise, and when I spec'd all the car's I put the PP limit on them to minimise rear downforce to make all the car's a bit more tail happy, which seemed to level all the cars out in their desired fields,

This is going to be a good series. I had the Vette & Falcon doing simular times at Nurburgring GP/F. I'm having a hard time choosing between the Vette & Falcon. :)

I believe all the car's are extremely close to the point where in some cases its going to get annoying being overtaken by a '69 Camaro, all cars are spec'd to their groups yet at some tracks are less then 1.5 seconds apart,

Sticking my hand up as an interested party, depending on what time the races wind up being held.
