That turn after the corkscrew on Laguna Seca is tough in these cars. I keep tripping up on the exit and spinning out.

Other than that, I think I've got most of the understeer dialed out of the Lexus. Feels good, and with tire wear off, I could go more aggressive with the brakes. I like it.

Yes, I know I have the bare carbon hood, when you specified body colour. But, imo, the bare carbon goes along with the intended paint scheme well, along with the wing and wheels. But if you want to be a meanie and make me change it, I guess I can. :(

Just so everyone has something to shoot for, in the practice room last night we were running high 23's, low 24's at Laguna. I hit a personal best of 1:23.6xx.

:dunce::dunce::dunce: :crazy::scared::ouch:

I cant go pass 1:28 in the Merc and 1:29 in the Lexus (Only did a few test runs on Racing Hards offline so that it will match the grip of Racing mediums online) with the recomended gear settings.

Ill will do a test with you if it is allright before comiting to the series... I dont want to get slaughtered...

Racing mediums will still have tons more grip. Never test offline, ever.

Yeah I would test online with tire wear off. That will get you the correct times.

Got it down to 1:25 with RM and no tyre wear but Im afraid thats the best I can do without some proper suspention tunning (and Im a bit of a noob when it comes to tunning)

Ill join when you put up another test session online...

EDIT: just for curiosity sake the downforce adjustment on the Lexus goes from 0 -front 23 -rear and in the Merc 0 -front 20 -rear.

And I changed the oil :ouch: and got almost more 10hp than in the OP

I got down to a 24.7, could see a 24.3 if I had a better tune.
This is the first car I'v ever needed to add understeer to.

Downforce is fine.

The numbers in the OP are with cars not broken in. If someone has their car broken in already, let me know so that I can update the HP numbers.

Car color is Cubanitesilber Metallic, wheels are dark grey

I got a 24.2 in the Lexus during the practice. Need to find someway of taking out all the understeer.

This is my current tune for the IS-F. It's gotten rid of most of the understeer, with minimal exit oversteer. It may or may not work for you, I have no idea. It might not even be that good. Keep in mind that the car has Chassis Rigidity done.

Ride height: +9 / -2
Spring Rate: 15.0 / 10.5
Extension: 4 / 6
Compression: 6 / 4
Anti-Roll Bars: 5 / 4

Camber: 2.2 / 1.7
Toe: +0.05 / -0.05

LSD:

Initial Torque: 10
Acceleration: 21
Deceleration: 10

Brake Balance: 5 / 6

Do you use ABS? I will try that tune (though Im faster in the Merc) but Im affraid that with that brake bias I wont be able to brake late. Im not that good without ABS (or with ABS for that matter :D ) but I enjoy the game much more without it.

I'll turn ABS to have fun sometimes, but never when competing online.

This. I turned it off for the "fun" FMSC race last week, but that turned out to be a disaster
