sorry for havin' a life! ;)

you're gonna drive the Legend? sweet!

Im not too familliar how you go about modifying a car but what do you do handling wise to the car I mean if its FF you must get a fair bit of torque steer?

depends on the car's chassis, and of course the power. The Integra is known to be a well balanced car, so adding power won't change much of the handling characteristics (to a point)

a car like the PT Cruiser Turbo/ Neon SRT4 is more prone to torque steer (and the PT turbo i tried yesterday was awful) because the engineers didn't spend as much time or effort into the chassis, and it shows. Granted it was wet and a bit icy, but the car moved almost 2 feets laterally when i floored it!

Sorry to break it to ya but that car is freakin sweet!

Oh I know it is, I like it but compared to cars in its class in Europe it sucks.

You? A life? In one sentence? I think not:lol:

Yeah Type 2 Legend is mine tomorrow, time to beat some "riced" out cars in my school that think they are badass with their cold air's and exhaust kits, its gonna be fun :D:D

I hate the dash mounted gearbox on the civic.

It's ugly, for sure, but have you actually tried to use it? It's brilliant. When you want to get things going in a hurry, it really flows well, keeping all your controls in a smaller area. Ironically, you wouldn't be getting in much of a hurry in a Honda....

Hey, before saying anything, better check the website first. The Type-R Civic is already a Left-Hand-Drive (probably German-spec), I know that the CTR has been around in Europe and in Japan for ages, but bringing the CTR in the US is a miracle. And there will be 1 in a million for the CTR to arrive in the US officially. But the Integra Type-R (aka RSX-R probably) has a chancr to be brought here in the US.

In my tastes, rarity is the key (in the US).

ERROR: in the second sentence "And there will be 1 in a million CHANCES for the CTR to arrive in the US officially."

no need to import one for thousands more, i've read some insider info the Civic Type-R will make it here in 2003 as a 2004, finally. expect the RSX-R (Integra Type-R outside the US) to make a comeback too.

PunkRock: I think it will be a milder version of the Type-R, no Recaro seats, all the juicy sruff, and it will be called Civic SiR not Type-R. And I already know that the ITR will arrive in the US officially, thats why Evolution Imports is not importing one.

M5 Power: Check www.evolutionimports.com and it states that the Type-R is $26,000, not $69,000 (for that price I rather buy a used NSX).

It's always going to be a milder version when a car company imports something. Consider the Focus SVT (ST170): Europe calls it a great hot-hatch, but it's so soggy here, it's not worth the increase over the regular ZX3. I hate US motor regulations....

Same here too, thats why the USDM EVO VIII sucks.

I think that the only car that has no mild spot is maybe the 1999 Integra Type-R (except with the front-end).

you wish...

the 98 & up JDM type R had 200 hp, 16'' wheels and about 150lbs less than what we got, not to mention the red Recaro seats, and the SRS less steering wheel in the early models.
