Once qualifying is done on Saturday night i will be taking a list for people who would like to watch in the room. Please remember there will only be 7 spots available. And yes people who qualified and didnt make the top 8 are more then welcome to come watch. Room is only open for viewers that are apart of GTP. Any random strays will be booted.

wait this weekend the 30ish people are going to be turned into the top 8 this weekend or spread out over a couple of weeks?

There will be a new qualifying session every weekend so you can manage to take partat every final event even if you were not in the top 8 in the event before

I dont think everyone will end up showing up. And yes 30ish people are being broken down into 8 this weekend. I have 2 qualifying rooms. Room in the morning is for people in Europe or any country that is on a very different time schedule then here in america. And the second room is for people in america. The top 8 qualifiers will move on to the main event on Sunday morning (or afternoon depending on where your at) 👍

Since I'm gone this weekend I can't compete.

But, I can still do the competition next week but won't be competing for the prize?

You can still compete. This competition is based on pounts not how many wins you get. (Kinda) whoever has most points at end wins. Its fine if you can't make it but you can still catch up in later events


Edit: First post is updated. I have taken down all the pictures and have put up the final qualifying board, this board is now on Google Docs, which allows anyone of you to view it at anytime for qualifying position as it changes (Link is under "Qualifying" Section in OP. Please take time to look through and notice if everything is correct. I need these corrections done by the end of tomorrow please!

On a side note, Our beloved SohnVonStig is off the roster and has decided to volunteer to judge beside me. So please give him a warm welcome! :sly: We are getting more excited everyday for the start of this great series, and are also excited to see the competition has in store for us!!

Also, Racers from Europe or other countries besides North America, please be sure to take note of the 1st qualifying room. This room was created for you so you wouldnt have to stay up till 4 am to qualify for the event. So please let me know what room you're going to be able to make or not. Drifters from America you are more than welcome to use the 1st room but European and other country drifters have first choice. Please be sure to let me or Stig know whether or not you're going to make it or not in a PM. If all this is understood and we are all ready to go, then lets get ready!! I along with all of Drop5 wish all you guys the best of luck in your journey to become the VDC Series 1 Champion brought to you by Drop5. If I dont see you in a practice room, i shall see you on qualifying day! 👍

I'll try to be there. Q is at 130 am Sunday morning for me. I'll send you a FR within a few days Spank.
 
So you know, I'm using a 240sx now and not the Silvia Q's that it says on the qualifying board :) sorry for the car change haha

Yeah I think that might be better for us as it should be about 3pm I think. Oh wait is your USA Q on your Sunday night or saturday night? If it's saturday night then it's ok but if it's your Sunday night then I'll be at work on Monday lol.
 
The 2nd room will be at 3pm on sunday the 29th for you. Would you be able to make it then?
 
Wait i just fixed it, its actually at noon on sunday the 29th for you. Or you can do the morning one which is at....well 1:30am. If you need to I can do a special time for you. Just PM me the time you will be able to and Ill give you a run
 
Nah that's ok I'll fit in with you. It's your comp and I don't expect any special favors mate. If I'm up at 130 am sunday morning. If not ill be there on sunday if the wife hasnt made any plans. I'll pm you on psn. I don't mind those times on weekends just week days are the killer for us.
 
What about the race time?

Note: Please be sure again to check out the First Post to see all the updates. I have made Google docs with live updating points and qualifying scores, so you can keep track while it happens. All you got to do is, click on the picture of the chart and it will bring you to the Google doc page with the live view of which ever board or chart it may be.

Remember Qualifying is tomorrow morning (whichever, depending where you live) make sure you are ready. If you havent been paying close attention we now have live qualifying updates. Once you qualify you can keep refreshing the page the keep track of who is on track and what they got for a score. All boards are on the OP. Just click on the picture and it will bring up the chart.

If you have any questions please ask! And please, please, get pumped up! Cant let this thread drp that low again :lol:
 
I'm not in Team ID anymore, it' Team BURST now.

I changed my Lime green - black rims paint to the Team paint purple and put dark chrome rims on. Here's a pic:
