Source? Reference?

Both of those cars look like renders - of the old WX3 (left) and W8 (right). Meanwhile, Vector Motors' website doesn't contain either but is, still, talking about the prototype WX8 that they've been "building" for five years.

They also look surprisingly like this Vector V8 Biturbo Concept from 2007, which only ever existed as a render.

They look cool, but I agree - seeing a real version is a bit of a longshot. Last time I checked Vector was planning on building this:



I can't see a small and financially unstable company like Vector just dropping a nearly developed (or at least, far more developed) vehicle and start over again.

I could be wrong - I like the look of those renders more than the one they have now, but I just think it's unlikely.

So Vector's still in the same state it was five years ago - producing lovely renders of their old cars.
