Hi I would like to participate but i do not have a mic or a PVR. Obviously this is a problem. but I would really like to do some reviews.

So will you have a commentary along with it?

Also will you test cars according to user input?

I suppose you'll use Dazzle or a HD PVR and not a camera, right?

I bet many of the people that have posted on this thread would be willing to help out. Don't be afraid to ask other people for things you are interested in.

It'd be great to see an actual episode of this. It doesn't even have to be an episode, it could just be a written review and a youtube filmed lap with some embedded pictures.

I have a ferrari review all filmed and edited together. Maybe instead of making episodes I could just have reviews and stuff on their own and upload them

Some friends and I have been working on 'TopGame' for a while now. Although we aren't sure if we're gonna release it or not. Not sure what I'm suggesting.. But the idea seems quite popular.

i just went through my old clips and I thought I hadnt done a bad job, so I am just going to finish off the pilot, rewire my hd pvr and make another episode when ideas come to me

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the sort of idea that you're looking for, but I created a few Top Gear Challenges for my brother and I to play.

One example is: The Captain Slow Challenge:

1. Each obtain a car with less than 69 hp. Then take it to Laguna Seca track for a series of challenges.

2. At the Laguna Seca track (practice mode). Can your car do a hill start up the sand on the famous corkscrew corner? 5 pts if you can.

3. Then have a 2 lap race around the Top Gear Test Track. 10pts to the winner

4. Spend up to 69,000 credits improving your cars.

5. Do a practice lap of the Top Gear Test Track quicker than a Go Kart.
1 pt for every second quicker, loose a point for every second slower.

If this is the sort of thing that you're looking for then I've got about 5 more, including Top Gear Couriers Challenge, the generation game, and the epic race across Europe with Jeremy in a European Supercar and the others on a Samba Bus.

Really good ideas, I will really consider implementing them, and I cannot believe I forgot about the Generation game!!! Imagine something like Stock Cobra vs Modern day Viper :D

OK, here was my generation game (I tried to choose cars that would be close)

Generation Game:

Choose whether you are supporting the old classic cars or the modern up to date versions.
Go to the Tokyo track for a series of drag races, first to smash into the wall wins.
Or do 1 lap of Daytona, Indy Speedway or the Top Gear Test Track.

Epic Race Across Europe

1. Buy your favourite European supercar (road version) then equip it for a race.

2. You’ll be racing across Europe through England, Spain, France, Germany and Italy. You will drive in your supercar while Tony takes the bus. Go to the Top Gear Test Track to start.

3. Do the following journey and note the times. (If the supercar has more than 600hp)
Practice test laps, 1 lap each (invalid laps still count).

European Supercar Route
Circuit Time Total Time
Top Gear test track
Circuito Madrid
Côte d’Azur
Nürburgring Nordschleife (Night)
Autodromo Nazionale Monza
Rome

Volkswagen Samba Bus Route
Circuit Time Total Time
London
Circuito Madrid Mini
Côte d’Azur
Nürburgring GP/F
Autodromo Nazionale Monza No Chicane
Rome

3. Do the following journey and note the times. (If the supercar has less than 600hp)
Practice test laps, 1 lap each (invalid laps still count).

European Supercar Route
Circuit Time Total Time
Top Gear test track
Circuito Madrid
Côte d’Azur
Nürburgring GP/F
Autodromo Nazionale Monza
Rome

Volkswagen Samba Bus Route
Circuit Time Total Time
London
Circuito Madrid Mini
Côte d’Azur
Nürburgring GP/D
Autodromo Nazionale Monza No Chicane
Rome

Obviously, the one with the slowest total time loses.

Top Gear Couriers Challenge
1. Each obtain a van from the following list of standard vehicles:
Daihatsu Midget II D type '98 Honda LIFE STEP VAN '72
Daihatsu MIRA TR-XX Avanzato R '97 Nissan CUBE EX (FF/CVT) '02
Daihatsu MOVE Custom RS Limited '02 Nissan CUBE X '98
Daihatsu MOVE CX '95 Suzuki ALTO LAPIN Turbo '02
Daihatsu MOVE SR-XX 2WD '97 Suzuki WAGON R RR '98
Daihatsu MOVE SR-XX 4WD '97 Toyota bB 1.5Z X Version '00
Honda ELEMENT '03

Then wait for a series of challenges.

2. To test performance; do a 1 lap race of the Daytona oval. 5 pts to winner

3. Of course, vans are about load space and carrying things. The van with the largest volume wins 5pts.

4. 90% of all bank robberies involve a van. Inspector Stig of the Yard will give you a 10 second head start around the top gear test track and then chase you down in the GRAN TURISMO SKYLINE GT-R (PaceCar). The van than gets furthest wins 5pts.

5. Just for the cameras, there’s 5 bonus points if you can flip your van onto its side or right over. Use the Top Gear Test Track to try.

I did the 80's Japanease Car Challenge...

Buy a 1980 Japanese Car, and you have to spend the change of your car on improving it. The Budget for all this (Car+Upgrades) is 40k...

Then you are going to drive round Tsukuba faster than a Skyline R34, gain a point for every second faster and lose a point for every second slower...

A 80's Japanease Car have to Drift...You will now drift around the Trial Mountain Circuit...The target is 20k, bigger amounts earns points and lower amounts lose points...

The final test is Top Speed. Your car have to be able to achive 240kph (150mph)...You lose a point for every km slower, and gain a point for every km faster...In Special Stage Route 7...

Are the vehicles you've listed to be in stock trim or maximum modifications on race soft tires? If the later you may want to remove the Mira from consideration as its performance fully modified puts it in a class of its own. Also I'm not sure it should be classified as a van anyways.
