Well I finished 5 th in the race tonight not bad for first time back in a borrowed car. Good job aceboy on your win today

IMPORTANT
I made the official announcment today that we will be changing time slots to 10 pm eastern on Sundays for the remainder of the season.

Also Important
I will be allowing every driver to drop their worst 2 races off the Standings at the end of the series.

The Standings are now updated. Also I will be placing Radical Raceway online shortly.
 
I think times fast times for this track are mid to upper 50s.
 
I hope everyone has gotten some practice in for Sunday, because I am ready to go dirt track racing. :D

We'll be racing at 10 pm this Sunday right? I can't make it if it's 2 pm because I'll be at the NASCAR race in New Hampshire.

Also, a note on the standings. I was under the impression that Dodge Raceway was 1 segmented race, not 2 separate races. I got called out for wall running in the second race and I stopped. I didn't know it was against the rules. I had my reasonable doubts, but nobody originally said anything against it until the second race. Someone once said something along the lines of "In racing you need to get as close as you can to breaking the rules without actually breaking them.", and that's what I was doing with the wall running. Once I found out it was against the rules I stopped, however it did cause me to beat racefan in the first race. Unless you deem otherwise (due to the fact that wall running was not talked about being against the rules) (unless I missed a conversation) I believe that racefan should be scored a finish of 2nd for the Dodge Raceway event and I should be scored 3rd instead of us being tied for that event.

Your totally right that it is not in the rules so I don't think you should lose any positions. On the other hand I cannot think of any scenario, in any league or championship where riding the wall is acceptable conduct.
 
Once again well job done racefan and nice job killer. You two put on quite the show out front today. I will be getting the standings updated here soon.
 
Sorry I didn't make it to the race guys. While I did get back home around 9:30pm I was completely exhausted.
 
I don't remember how fast I ran last time, but with a road course like Spa you never know. I will try to be on there to practice soon, because I need to.

I got to ride along in a NASCAR at Daytona today. First off, the banking is.. Ridiculous. Second the track is massive. Third... It was fun but I will never do it again. The G's you get in one of those turns is ungodly and nearly made me pass out. It was only 170ish MPH and I can't imagine it at 210 with 42 other cars. I only did 3 laps and nearly passes the hell out, can't imagine 200, let alone 250. I've gained a TON more respect for those drivers. And highly recommend it to any racing fan. Something I'll never forget. And I left with A racing tire from Johnson's car :D 👍 :lol:

Thanks! Yeah It was unreal how manny G's you pull in those turns. I believe it takes more then an athlete to race in one of those cars. I can't even put into words how crazy it is to ride in one! The best way to put how it felt was if you've ever been on a plane and when you lift off.. Times that by 5 and you might have the same as it was ON THE HIGH LINE at Daytona. Don't even get me started on the low line. :eek: :lol:

Thanks Ace! Yeah man if you have any chance at any track definitely try it out. You'll have so much more respect for those drivers after you do it, I promise you that. It was definitely an experience like none other. Was a blast, but my head was pounding afterwards from all the friggin pressure! :lol:


And I just made an album with some pictures I took. As you can see I'm by no means a photographer but I tried :lol: And I may have uploaded pictures twice but the app get's weird at times so it was unintentional
