It sounds challenging but it's actually very easy and equally pointless as you can't retro launch online. 9.004 will still be within 0.010 of the fastest non retro. Anything within one hundredth of a second is competitive online, as your reactions will probably play a bigger part than your tune at that level.
Also I've never understood when people talk about setting up a car for a retro launch, in my experience, you can retro launch a viper, enzo, zr1, etc all on the conventional 2nd gear launch settings with no changes to the gearing needed. Maybe for certain slower cars its needed... :?:
