You are over a month late in registration and can not compete in the comp.
Who knows when VDC Season 2 will begin.
Though... You can still keep up with season 1 by watching this thread and visiting the Virtual Drift Circuit official website http://virtualdriftcircuit.weebly.com/
Wow, this really ****** sucks not you or VDC but the fact that I told myself i would wait a bit before participating as a recently aquired a wheel 2 months ago and I would learn and acquire skill and now I'm ready but I'm past date :(:guilty::indiff:

yes :/ stupid GT physics.
But with 70-100 surface water and Racing soft tires ;)
Actually the reason the cars feel like they gain traction is for several reasons. One Ninja explained is that when the road starts getting wet all that rubber in the track starts coming to the surface when it starts raining. The second thing is a obvious one. Is that the comfort tires have deep treads in them. So water flow is much higher than other tires. So when it rains grip is much higher. GT6 actually improved this over GT5 in terms of Comfort tires in rainy conditions.

But I still think its gonna be a fun round. I love rain drifting. I try to tune all my cars to be able to run in all sorts of conditions. So I spend alot of time practicing drifting in the rain. :)

I wouldn't say it's boring, I'd say it's difficult due to the adverse weather conditions.

It's pretty unrealistic that Comfort Hard Tires have better grip on wet surface than it has on dry track.
My summer tires on my s13 have better grip on a dry road, then it has on wet road. That's just how it is in the real world.

Believe it or not economic tires do have better grip in the rain being that they are for daily use in all weather.
Have you ever driven a car in rain in real Life? And used same tires on a dry road? Did you get better grip when it was raining?

No I haven't driven in rain in real life ::sarcasm:: yes you do get better grip in the rain. Economic tires are again designed for COMFORT not sport driving.
