Weren't we dealing with this, for the same person, over a year ago?Seeing as how we have a banned member in our ranks, I need to go over the protocol for if the ban is permanent. @DurWinning would need to pay attention here. NOTE: This is only if the ban is permanent.
1) Team owner has the ability of hiring a substitute driver, another GTP member, to fill the car and maintain its full time status.
2) Team owner can forfeit the entry back to VRR for redistribution.
3) VRR will redistribute the entry based on a list of potential teams, prioritized by teams with part time drivers and finances, then teams that do not have four full time entries. That list currently is the following:
-Impulse Racing-Audi (1 part time driver)
-Swift Autosport-Aston Martin (1 part time driver)
-Black Rose Racing-Ferrari (1 part time driver)
-Eiffel Tower Racing Team (1 part time driver)
-Cherokee Motorsports-Audi (2 part time drivers)
-Perl Speed GP-Aston Martin
-Scuderia Rabia Furiosa-Chevrolet
-Team Porter-Ferrari
-Starion Motorsports-Ford
-Rainbow Road Racing-Honda
-Ecurie Ecosse-Audi
-Big Blue Motorsports-Chevrolet
-Sovereign Motorsports-Cosworth
If the ban is not permanent, then we will need to figure out how long the ban is, and then the punishment handed out would be that duration of time applied to the beginning of the season, which would start at the Monster Shootout. (Example: Two month GTP ban would be a 60-day racing ban active from 06 January-04 March 2017.) The team would not be permitted to find a substitute for that duration, effectively limiting the field to 32 full time cars for that duration. The team would also be penalized 50 team points.
I believe so.Weren't we dealing with this, for the same person, over a year ago?
Yup.So basically we're waiting to see if the ban is permanent and proceeding from there.
An hour ago I knew why I posted that...now I can't remember... xDwhat
You sure they cleared you to race?An hour ago I knew why I posted that...now I can't remember... xD

Wait what doctor? There was a doctor? I know I was in Romania for a bit...can't recall why.The doctor must've been blind.
Sorry, have I missed any important news? I stopped getting notifications from this thread after I missed 1.
Big news day.
Following the 2017 season, Audi and Aston Martin are set to depart from the series. Audi, which is in the middle of a reorganization and reduction in activities, will uphold their 2017 contract deals before leaving. Aston Martin, who is set to debut in 2017, has come to a decision to not renew with VRR beyond next year. Aston Martin and Audi both have small entry bases. Audi is supplying engines to seven cars in 2017, while Aston Martin is only supplying four. That leaves 30 of the 41 total entries in other stables.VRR CEO Evangeline Porter has decided to expand the full time field to 33 cars, and because of some of the major overlay between the full time field and the part time drivers, has outlined a provisional pre-qualifying system.
Three new entries have been made available, with the order of availability going as follows:
1) Sovereign Motorsports-Cosworth
2) Polaris Motorsports-Chevrolet
3) Cat Devil Racing-Honda
If one of the above three decline an entry, the entry will be passed on the following list.
4) Impulse Racing-Audi
5) Swift Autosport-Aston Martin
6) Black Rose Racing-Ferrari
Sovereign Motorsports have already signaled their intent on accepting an entry, having asked VRR for clarification on how this will affect their financial outlook. Polaris Motorsports and Cat Devil Racing have yet to make their decisions known.
The Pre-Qualifying system will come into place whenever there are more than 33 cars entered into a points paying event, excluding Indianapolis. The system will be updated every 8 races as well as at the end of the season, and those within the top 24 in owner's points will be safe from pre-qualifying. Due to the 2016 finishing next weekend, a detailed list of what cars have to pre-qualify will not be made available until the Monday after.
The Daytona event scheduled for March 26th has been cancelled according to VRR officials. Reasons given include a very concerning safety risk regarding parts of the infield portion of the track and the turns 3 and 4 of the oval portion. VRR has stated that those that purchased tickets to Daytona can use those tickets at Homestead-Miami with no additional charge. VRR CEO Evangeline Porter could not be reached for comment, but it is rumored that the series is exploring making Edmonton's race weekend a double header to make up for the loss.
VRR CEO Evangeline Porter has made the decision to not hunt for a replacement of the Daytona event, which had been cancelled on the grounds of safety concerns. It has also been replaced as a testing venue in favor of Sebring International Raceway, which will host an open test after the 2017 Monster Shootout in Las Vegas. Porter also announced that there would be one test in December at Hidden Valley Raceway in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. The test will be a two day event on December 17th and 18th.

Nah. I'm confident that you can recruit a replacement if you got to it. If you want to replace him, that is.Well....looks like I'm screwed.
Watching the richer teams fight is fun.
It's especially fun when I am the only one with the financial reports at the moment, so I know who has how much.
