If you could make up the VRR Super GT schedule, what 9 venues would you choose?

OK, let's go through my race...

Tricky Turn 1, the outside of the front 2 rows both braked late (I was on the outside of Row 2) and coming out of the corner I had left-front suspension damage. That threw a stop in straight away and compromised my strategy. @trobes29 DC and @Chris hatten spin gave me a better position. I was very surprised to find myself on @PEAGLEZ7 gearbox at the end, fighting for a podium but I dropped it on the final lap pushing too hard.

The only major mistake I made was the contact with @Whitetail, for which I must apologise. I looked in my rear-view mirror and saw nothing, moved to the outside line and lifted, assuming Bambi was underneath me. I got it wrong and hold my hands up. Sorry Bambi. I do need to work on my awareness with faster traffic.

Great race all around though, being less than 5 seconds off of the podium going into the last lap after taking the early stop was an unexpected bonus. 👍

Can't wait for Motegi! :D

No damage, no worries. Just keep your foot in it next time, it's impossible to anticipate cars letting off to let you through in a corner. When you're on a long straight and you pull off line ahead of time then it's obvious. :)

Cool, will do. 👍 I cursed myself out for 5 laps for not just going wide in the next corner instead...

One was lap 34 @Whitetail and my race was going good until i hit angel and got damage then i had made it all back untill GT300 traffic started to get heavy the doomstick hits me and gives me damage almost killing my chance at a podium but i got back going and had a great battle with el rossy and ended up with 4th :banghead:🤬:gtpflag:

Lap 34: The first bit of contact was on your end, @DcrRaikkonen. You had made the move but weren't clear and you moved over into him. The very next corner, if there was contact as I didn't see any on my replay, would be @Doomstorm16's fault as he made a late move up the inside of a GT500 car. Not preferred from the GT300 drivers.

Lap 38: @NinjaEvo just out-brakes himself and tags @DcrRaikkonen, who runs into @Doomstorm16 as a result. Although @DcrRaikkonen could have allocated room on the inside as @NinjaEvo could have made the corner if that was the case. I think this should be a racing incident as it was avoidable in multiple aspects and to penalize one driver would be difficult.

Lap 44: @Doomstorm16 fails to recognize @DcrRaikkonen's presence and turns down into him.

@BRRT_Angel any penalties will be at your discretion.

I think if we aren't getting rid of qualifying ballast, then if should be required that a driver must qualify to be allowed to race.
This. If this is the case, adding qualifying times to the OP would be beneficial as I thought the Q would begin at the posted time, not the race.

In angels defense, she does send a message and posts in the thread next weeks date and times.
Not everyone can be by their PS3s every day. I never got that message until this afternoon right before I got in the room IIRC. Nothing against Angel, just advice.

Good point, but she does post next race's schedule after the official race results are posted. Page 12 is the most recent posting.

Did anyone see the incident between myself and Rossi in turn 1? (Idk what lap it was) I couldn't tell if I turned into him or he dive bombed me.

If you would like, remind me tomorrow and I can review it if I have time. I'm not the greatest "steward" though, not to mention I've been under a lot of stress lately.

I think that the qualifying ballast shouldn't be that large between drivers. 40kg seems to be a bit overkill especially when someone who doesn't qualify of doesn't make it into the top 3 doesn't get any ballast. On top of that comparatively 3rd place only gets about 10 kg which isn't a huge penalty. It may be a good idea to lower it 10 - 15 kg. This way second can have 20kg and 3rd can still keep the 10. Personally I would like to be rid of it all together because it punished whomever earns pole, but this suggestion may make it a bit harder to walk all over anyone who starts pole. I may need to run some tests with people to see how this slows lap times if anyone is interested.

It's my opinion it should be eliminated all together. Even a little ballast will encourage sandbagging and reluctancy to go as fast as you can. Ballast should only be applied after the race so people don't weasel out of a pole lap to gain an "unfair" advantage in the race. But this is @BRRT_Angel's series and we can propose all we want, it's still her ultimate decision.

I will compile a detail list of each proposal that's been made, and I will hopefully have a decision by this weekend. There isn't any reason to rush since we have a week off, which will help make sure this a thorough decision.

"Let the sandbags hit the Floooooorr!!" *plays Drowning Pool rift. XD

The reason I don't understand why we have qualifying ballast is because I thought they got rid of that in Super GT.
